What's your favourite music genre?

    Personally I'm into Reggae & Dancehall music, Soca, pretty much anything with a Caribbean flavour to it, so I'm just curious to see what music everyone else likes on EC :slight_smile:

    Most rock and metal sub-genres, most notably - metalcore.

    I also can listen to other genres, such as Electronic and drum and bass.

    Although reggae is by far my favourite, I am pretty versatile I guess when it comes to other genres, electronic & drum and bass being ones I don't mind listening to. Depends on my mood as well haha.

    1)Texas Red Dirt country music
    2)"Commercial" country music (I don't really like a lot of the new stuff like Sam Hunt. Sounds almost like rap and R&B in country). Luke Bryan walks a fine line but his ass makes up for it :lol:.

    Is 'musicals' an appropriate answer? I like any sort of music from musicals. The range is huge, from like... Phantom of The Opera (quite operatic, would you have guessed?!) to RENT (A rock musical). Give me anything from a musical :grin:

    A few people
    I can listen to just about anything; my only two "hell no" genres are country and anything that sounds like it was written by a fabricated Disney star. But rock is my main genre, especially industrial and the "Neue Deutsche Härte" subgenres. Also classical and opera; good music to write and make art to.

    "Musicals" is absolutely an appropriate answer. I'm a sucker for PotO and Les Mis, myself.
