Doing Halloween?

    In Australia we don't really do much for Halloween but there has been a gradual growth of children knocking on your door for trick or treat. In the past, I have put fake blood on a kitchen knife to greet people before but this I wore a pink beauty queen dress and a long blonde wig while keeping my beard on.

    I live in the outer western suburbs of Sydney where dressing up like this would have seen you bashed if not murdered, only for the Police to list it as suicide but not any more. I sat outside where the reaction was a lot of positive laughter and quite a lot of compliments.

    Are you doing anything for Halloween?

    No. My sister and I where supposed to plan a Halloween party, to which she said wasn't going to happen and yet, I somehow feel it's going to happen under my nose, like usual. I know I sound extremely immature saying this, but I feel a bit betrayed of what she's done.

    No halloween here in this place, at least formally. Kind of glad that I don't have to deal with the awkwardness that is roaming horde of children in costumes, but I also feel sad about never get a chance to put on female clothes publicly without people giving too much thoughts about it.

    I don't celebrate Halloween, I celebrate Wicked day XD I'm going to my cousins' 16th birthday party dressed as Elphaba. I have the Wicked OBC recording playing in my room, and its fabulous.

    I have never actually done something for halloween, except going trick or treating for like once or twice. This year I am going to a friends party, but it's not a halloween party, like, you dont have to wear a costume, his parents just arent home.

    Yes! My friends and I are taking my "fake" nephew (friend's kid) to a little outdoor festival during the day, then at night we are hanging out and watching horror movies and giving out candy. Halloween is my favorite holiday :eusa_danc .

    Hallowe'en is more of a drunk university students thing in Japan, with some kids events during the day (more involving costumes than candy). The big city next to mine also does their Pride Parade on Hallowe'en! So that's what I did. Dressed up as a greaser and walked with a bunch of people :slight_smile: It was fun!!

    I'm going to a scary night at an amusement park. They get people at the park dressed up in creepy costumes and have fog machines and stuff. I'm excited :slight_smile:

    My dad and I are going to see a movie, then go to one of those haunted house places. I don't have many friends to do things with.

    I'm going to a party, one of two in the year where I run into some old associates. It's a few minutes out of town, allowing for a lot of space for whatever.

    Usually there's dancing, drinking, smoking, and karaoke, along with everybody's own little group or individual activities. But that's with about any party really, that last bit.
