So yesterday i realised this,that it was a month until valentines day. I hate that day!! I swear its just made to make people who dont have anyone feel lonely and if you do have someone you shouldnt need the excuse of a corperately manufactured day to show how you appreciate them!!

More importantly, 4 days until my birthday

Mike and I met on Valentines Day, actually.
But we didn't start dating until March 2nd.

So our meeting is at least romantic.

I've still got my first ever valentine

I must have been four or five, my friend made a little paper heart with an arrow going through it and gave it to me.
Last year I got a valentines chocolate from a friend - om nom nom! She bought two of them and put her name on one and mine on the other. It was adorable! And the year before that I got a valentines rose which was really sweet.

But those were sympathy-from-friends valentines, I haven't had a proper one since I was about 5... I'll probably give one this year, I'll need to find a sneaky way to send them though.

im spending mine in north wales in the middle of nowhere on a geography field trip! perhaps its lucky then that i don't have anyone special to spend it with coz they wouldnt be too happy lol

I technically have a boyfriend, but we are probably heading for a split. There is another man in my life to complicate things, so I can very well spend it with too many people or alone.
