gay film

im looking for a gay film, it's french and it's about this swimmer, but i cant remember it's name, any ideas?

Is it a male swimmer? I just saw a great French film about synchronized swimmers (girls), one of whom is just realizing her sexuality (she falls for one of the girls on the team). The lesbian story is only one of three separate stories of girls in the movie, but it is handled very nicely (as are the other stories). Here is my post on it from the other thread:

I just watched this tonight (yay for netflix unlimited online movies!) and I must agree with you that it was very good. I felt that the acting for all three girls was very good. Another thing I liked about the movie was that it was not strictly a gay movie. Each of the girls was grappling with her own adolescent insecurities, desires, indecision, etc. For example, I thought the sub-plot with the chubby best friend who worried about her body and desperately wanted her first boyfriend was spot on and very moving. It was such an honest take on what it is to be a 15-year-old girl and it was refreshing to see this, rather than a fairy-tale ending like High School Musical or other such things.

I was pretty blown away with Marie's acting--the intensity in her scenes with floriane was unbelieveable.

Not sure if this was the film you're thinking of, but even if it wasn't, I'd still recommend it. it was very well done!
