I had a discussion with a friend today that I thought I would bring here. If you discuss the ending of a history-based movie of bio-flic with someone, do you consider it to be spoiling the ending? This question applies to any other elements of the plot as well.

nah...its not too much of a spoiler. I mean...take Titanic for example. It wouldn't be a spoiler to say "the boat hits an iceberg and sinks." Everyone knows that. Not a spoiler...though it is a spoiler if you talk about the characters involved and how they end their story.

Depends what it's about. If it's a Titanic, it's okay, because the story is so commom. If it's less known, it's a different.

Nah, I don't reckon it spoils it

I mean, it's history - it's not like there's going to be a surprise twist at the end to make it a hit.

The reason most people go, is for the history and the discussions about it, not for the story line as such
