We all know that working out our gender identities, sexual orientations, relationships of love, family, and friendships take their toll and get us down sometimes.

What do you do when you want to cheer yourself up? How do you take care of yourself on a really bad day?

    I work out.

    I eat really dark chocolate.

I prepare a nice meal for myself.

I do household chores. (It can be so therapeutic.)

    I talk to my friends.

I watch TV shows that make me laugh, like Modern Family.

I work out, watch youtube, dance, play my sims game, play my gran theft auto games, or read fanfics or better yet write fanfics. Or just cry and let myself feel the sadness until it goes away.

Eat chocolate. & try to find something entertaining to watch, either movies or videos or tv shows or cartoons, whatever. Listen to music sometimes, but that doesn't always work, because if I'm sad odds are I'll just listen to depressing music. Go outside helps sometimes though. & if all else fails, I'll just lay in my bed & curl up in a ball waiting to die. lol

I sit in my car and blast 80's Rock music. Usually the cheesiest song I can think of. Lately it's been Community Property by Steel Panther... Although that is not technically from the 80's...

nothing really cheers me up.. i'm borderline so like rn I'm super upset about a minor thing that happened at school and I literally can't get over it:frowning2:

but i guess usually i just try to distract myself from it but it doesn't usually work

It never gets better than neutral for more than a few minutes, so why try?

I don't. Nothing really "cheers" me up on a day that I feel like the world is against me. [IMG] I just get through it by distracting myself to keep from dwelling on it. Usually getting lost in a complex piece of art helps, if I've already got one I'm working on.

Although sometimes a nice cup of tea at least helps a little bit.

Art. I paint, draw, make something... anything that I can think of. Pintrest has been helping me out on some ideas as well!
