What’s Something Many People Fear That Doesn’t Scare You?

I could say that I'm not really afraid of spiders. Surely, some of them can be downright creepy and dangerous, but most really don't phase me at all. I understand the fear because some would certainly harm people and kill if threatened. It's like a survival trait that's been embedded in the brain throughout human history.

Death. Not saying that to act like a tough guy, but I've been depressed for long enough that mortality doesn't bother me. I've never been close to suicide, but that being said, life is not so inherently awesome that I care how long I make it at this point.

Spiders, snakes, heights, roller coasters. I'm pretty brave. Can't look at a needle though.

    I'm with this.
Also things which could result in death don't fear me that much, such as heights.

Public Speaking! I actually kind of like it....I used to be so fearful of speaking in front of groups but that changed when I did this presentation in high school. It was over a topic I loved and it was with a group of people I also loved, so it just took that fear away!

I don't fear darkness much. Not death either.

Death. I don't believe in hell or an afterlife, so what do I have to fear? When I die I'll just cease to exist. I didn't exist before I was born, so what's the difference?

Spiders and heights really don't scare me. I actually really like being high up.

    Needles, snakes, clowns.

I mean needles are obviously uncomfortable to deal with, but they don't terrify me. Snakes are kinda cute. I wouldn't want to be around a poisonous one, but who would? Clowns don't scare me at all. Pennywise is freaky, and I would obviously be freaked out if he were real, but only because of his sharp teeth and the fact that he's a murderer. XD

My fears are sharks (even though I love them), death, losing a loved one, going blind, losing my mind, causing harm to someone, heights (even though I love roller coasters).

Arachnids. I love spiders, and I kind of want a tarantula.

Snakes and death, I guess. I wonder what happens when we die, but I'm not afraid of it.

Snakes and reptiles. Always wanted one as a pet but unfortunately haven't made the leap yet. Literally almost everyone in my family is afraid of snakes.

Spiders. Since my mother suffers arachnophobia it's a rather decent fit.

Well, when I was a kid I used to have a "pet" alligator snapping turtle that I found and secretly kept behind the house. I ended up releasing it back into the pond because the puddle I kept it in dried up. It was nearly as big as me when I was that young.

Aside, I'm a terrible coward. But where I live not being afraid of seeing two guys kiss means I'm not afraid of something everyone else is. It's ridiculous.

Also animals such as spiders, snakes & such. Or horror/creepy things. I guess I'm not easily scared in that sense. I mean I have maaany fears, but very different from those.

The Dentist! The smells, the noises, the chairs... all comforting. I don't even mind being stuck with the needle.
