I think this thread would be a nice alternative to the "What Do You Want For Christmas?" one.

    So I'll start:

    Mom
    A mouse for her laptop.

    Grandma
    a small, pretty picture frame

    Oldest Brother
Lava lamp, since his old one burned out.

I still don't know what to get my older brother, Dad, or grandpa yet.

Yeah! It's kind of fun trying to figure out what to get others.

Brother: Boots, which are on their way, and a beetle plush.
Mom: Not sure yet, something warm with no zippers, kind of like a poncho or shawl maybe. Should not look like a snuggie.
Dad: No idea. He's very picky.
Dog family: A giant container of their favorite treats and some squeaky toys probably.

This thread is far more 'me' than the other one. I've already finished my Christmas shopping  anyway, here's what I for my family:

Mum A to do list/ organiser thing. It's kinda lame but I know she likes to be feel organised.
Dad A Japanese film- Kagemusha I think it's called?
    Sister A necklace
Brother The too many tomatoes cookbook

I just got my friends chocolate and mugs... I got my best friend a necklace though ( I'm so bad at buying girl gifts- I just buy necklaces...)

I'm getting my Mum anything orange. My Dad some tops from a charity store, taking off the label, wrapping it like it's new and see what he thinks. My brother, every year I say lego, every year I don't. He might just get me to allow him to sing some Christmas songs even though I really can't stand his singing voice [not trying to be rude, it's just that some sounds really bug me].

I love giving gifts! It's better than getting them. So much fun!

These are the ones I'm the most proud of so far -
Husband: Various items to go with his kilt (fly plaid, ghillie brogues, Kilt pin, and new sporran hanger)
Sis in-Law: Painting of a platypus in the style of a Patronus from Harry Potter
MtF Sis: My Little Pony patches and necklace
Mom in-Law: Seeds to start an indoor tea garden

Aaaaand I'm still shopping for everyone else.

I already purchased my Christmas gifts. I got a graphic tshirt, and a Popfigure that my girlfriend has been wanting. I got this collectible coin for her mother. Those are the only people I'm buying for.

Actually got most of my holiday shopping done.

Mom- She's a huge Star Wars fan so she's getting a USB R2D2 tablet and phone charger for the car.

Brother- So far, a t-shirt and maybe an Xbox game.

Boyfriend- A figurine he had his eye on and a shirt

My sisters- Shirts, books, and vouchers to write their own books (which I'll take in and print for them)

Grandma- Not sure, I'm thinking maybe a spa gift certificate or something

    ---------- Post added 3rd Dec 2015 at 02:53 PM ----------

I did want to get my mother-in-law that glitter in an envelope but I'm not that evil.

Oh and my animals are getting something too. My fish is getting some new stuff for his tank, my turtle's getting a nice cuttlebone, and I'm thinking I'll get the dog a chew and my cats a scratching post.

Got my aunt a dog diary for 2016.

Got my sister a pug makeup bag and a large bottle of Chambord.

Got my cousin a perfume set.

I'm going to get a picture framed for my mother.. it's one of us together when I was a kid. There are several robin-related nick-nacks that I want to get her too, since she loves robins (the bird, that is). I was also going to get her a Christmas pudding-scented candle but she bought one herself. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Not sure about my grandmother yet. She's a hard person to buy for. I saw some foot pedicure thing at the supermarket and thought she'd like it given her feet get really dry, so I might get her that.

Got my mom some CDs with religious music on them and a purse. Got my dad some nonfiction history books(he's a total history buff), got my sister some bath and body works stuff, got my friend some socks, my cats and one of my dogs got toys, and the other dog got a new bed(she is very laid-back, doesn't like to play, is content to just sit in her bed and look out the window.). Also got my brother a t-shirt.

Y'all are fast, we don't even have or Christmas tree up. Since my family agreed that we don't really want anything particular anymore, our last few Christmas's have just been things like clothing. So I'll probably get my sister a shirt or something and my mom some earrings. I don't have any friends I'm close enough to give presents to...

Friends: a bag with a unicorn on it that a friend clearly wanted; probably a book on anarchism for another; not sure about another two yet.
Partners: I'm getting one a box of cereal (it's a joke) and the other I'm not sure yet.

There is nothing depressing about The Witcher 3. Your dad is cool as fuck.

I'm just getting into pen-making: turning wooden blanks (on a lathe) into some incredibly beautiful wooden pens. Going to give one each to my adult children and their spouses as well as to a couple of the older grand kids. Also gifting to a couple friends I've made since coming out in April  I've given handmade wooden gifts a lot over the years, and in most cases (>95%) they are very well received.

Well my mum is getting my dad a ps4, but I'm paying for a 5th of it so I have dibs on part of it, but I knew that my dad wanted the witcher (and I'm also vagueley interested), so I thought it'd be a good present.

Also, my dad's awesome. He's 52, plays GTA, skateboards, has a sports car, etc.
