In 8 years I will say the same to Obama and in 16 years the same to his successor. Presidents are like CEOs no one is ever sad to see them go.

I mean, really. It felt like it was never going to happen, being that he's been around most of my life. |

It must of felt horrible to have to appear in front of all those people today knowing you are so unloved.

A lot of it. He did his best, and while we may (glbt community) not see eye to eye, he still led us through some of the worst events in this nations history (9/11 mainly), and I completely respect him for that. Good-bye. (I still didn't like his 2nd term though lol)

And yeah, presidents often leave with low approval ratings, but not many leave with approval in the twenties. | |

I knew during his second campaign, that any chance of him being a good President was gone. It is my honest opinion that Bush had the ability to be an excellent President. He messed up in picking his cabinet, and gave them too much leeway. I will admit I voted for Bush, and I voted for Obama this time. At the time I thought they were the best person for the job. All I can say is that I hope Obama does not let us down.History will tell if he was a visionary and uniter, or just a used car salesman.
