So this probably has happened to everyone once in their life. Where someone gets in front of you in, whether in a grocery store line, airport, movies, etc.

So this happened to me at the movie theater and I was so mad, but didn't do anything. The guy played it so causally, like I didn't know. It annoys the crap out of me.

What would you do if someone cuts you in line?!

People cut into the line at my local supermarket all the time. If they have like only 2 or 3 items in hand, I smile indifferently and let them go. But if they have more than that I politely ask them to get in line behind me. A couple of times when they were rude or ignoring me I created a fuss and didn't let the cashier ring up their items.

Since I've been pretty much a regular there for almost 5 years now, most of the staff and cashiers know me by face and name pretty well. If anyone cuts me off they tell them firmly to get in line and refuse to take their stuff.

Ah.:eusa_clap:eusa_danc. The Joy. I like to think I'm making a difference. But meh.

Then again if it happens anywhere else I politely tell them to get behind me. If I'm in a bad mood I give them the Glare of Doom but am too lazy to do anything else. Lol. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

I would sigh loudly, give them a cold stare and assume they are a foreigner.

Eh, I've had people cut in line and I've cut in line before myself. I guess I'm just, indifferent. I tend to be indifferent to most things these days. A lot of it doesn't feel real, like I'm living in someone else's life until they get back. These days- it's beginning to become a lot more real and I've started to care about things more. Unless the queue is for something really important- chances are I'm not going to care.

Generally the response is the subtle 'I will murder your entire family and destroy everything that you love' stare.

    It works well.

That happened recently.. some lady tried cutting in front of me when I was waiting to get on the bus so I told her that there's a line and she should go to the back.

This happens to me a lot in the lunch lines at school. I have the lunch shift with the most people (the last one), so I get reaaally salty about it. Especially considering that recently I've been in a line that runs out of food before it gets to me more than I have ever before. There's also one girl in my grade who's pregnant who will cut in line quite often and it's probably really rude, but a lot of the time, I will think in my head "It was your foolish decision to have unprotected sex, which lead to your pregnancy. I don't care if that's your reasoning for cutting, we're all trying to get food here, so don't. Don't you dare."

I would probably do nothing, honestly. I'm not one to try to start something over stuff like this.

I assert my way back in front of them. I don't take cutters lightly.

I would probably make a big fuss of things, which is terrible of me because normally I am the one cutting the line. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

I just get really fed up of watching people buy a whole car full of stuff when I only need to get one thing and it takes like forever.

It would all depend on how big/mean they looked.

A huge, Incredible Hulk meanie, well, I guess they get to cut; a bratty little kid????No way!!!! An old lady on crutches??? Those are easier to defeat. So I'd go on a case by case basis. Who knows, if I was I was in charitable mood, I might even let the old lady go on ahead.

Option 1: Call them out on their shitty behavior.

Option 2: Tell the person at the register that the line-cutter just cut the line!

Option 3: Grumble and give them evil looks. Visualize an evil clown walking up to them to annoy the hell out of them.

Meh I'd do nothing. That annoys the fuck out of me because it's just plain rude, but I like to avoid conflict as much as possible.

I would try and cut in front of them. If there are Germans around I wouldn't bother doing anything, most of them don't understand what queues are.

Me:"Excuse me, but you better go right back to where you came from!"
    Person:"What about no?"
    Me:"uhm ok."

This is probably how it would go

Do everything in my power to make their life a living hell. Or hit them as hard as I can.

Depends on the line really and how long it will take me get where I want.

Typically I never give cutters a chance. At my school cafeteria, there are people who will just keep moving up next to you in an effort to cut you. I always try my hardest to cut them off and make their time hell in the process.

But if they succeeded, I'd probably make an audible scoff and stare angerly at the back of their head, arms crossed and everything.

If I was feeling really brave, i'd cut in front of them right back.

    Depends on the line.

Currently the lines are at my school waiting to get food and I just roll my eyes.
