Do you like beards? Do you find them attractive or asctically pleasing? I know that for some they're a major turn on and for others it's a deal breaker. I'm curious of the preferences of people on EC.

Personally I think some people look best with a beard. However, Concerning a partner I'd much rather see them with cleanly or mostly shaved faces. Beard has a habit of covering up attractive face qualities.

I prefer a light beard not to heavy but enough hair to see

I love seeing guys with fluffy beards. They remind me of ponies with fluffy winter coats.

Hate is not a strong enough word for how I feel about beards, especially the big bushy lumberjack ones

I find 5-o-clock shadows quite attractive, but not full-grown beards. If someone does grow facial hair, it has to be good facial hair, not the sparse and patchy ones. Those never look nice.

I dislike beards. Oddly enough I think I hate more on myself than anything. I shave with a razor at angles that often lead to me getting cut just because I want to remove all stubble from my face. I could maybe be with a guy who has a beard, as long as it's well maintained and not too big. I still wouldn't like it, though.

I think beards are cool. Some are attractive. Some are cute. It also depends on the person.

A light beard is ok but a heavy one looks like pubes are growing on your face.

I'm letting mine grow in for a while. I'm sure one day I will be bored tho and decide to shave it off.

Depends on the beard and on the man it's attached to. Big bushy ones are out, though, no matter who it is.

They're a deal breaker for me.
To me, beards ruin perfectly pretty/handsome faces way too often.
Plus they're either really scratchy or tickly to kiss. Pash rash, no thanks.
    Just my personal preference.
I wish I could be one of those guys who said "it's what's on the inside that counts" ... but just no.

Same here, though in my case I shave in every which angle over and over because I suck at shaving.

I once wanted a long flowing heard to complement my long hair but I've since changed my mind for several reasons, first being I my facial grows sparsely except my chin and lip and even then it's very thin. Secondly it doesn't make much sense for me to want a large beard when I want a boyfriend with a smooth face. I still have a small goate-mustache combo, mostly because I want to find out just how thick it can grow. Id readily shave it for a significant other.

I like well trimmed beards rather than the wild, untrimmed ones. But then again I like clean-shaved men too. I think it depends on the person. I think some beards suit some people and don't suit others.

But I'm a hypocrite anyway since I'm lazy as hell to shave. I think I have a wild untrimmed beard presently myself. Meh.

I wouldn't say I have a "beard," but I do have facial hair (the pic in my avatar is from this past Thanksgiving two days ago). I actually don't know what's the difference between "beard" and "facial hair." Most people have commented on how I look better with facial hair (never had a negative comment).

On guys, I do like full facial hair/beards, provided it's not too bushy. Just no lone mustaches or "weird" facial hair styles. I prefer a "traditional" full beard.

Some people, like the gentleman above me, look thoughtful and classy with a beard. ^_^

I know I'll start hating them when I have to shave mine once I'm on T...

otherwise, they're fine. As long as they're trimmed and neatly groomed.

    ^^

I still have to admit that even though it's a look I don't find attractive in men, there are some amazing guys out there, and I can understand why they would appeal to people.
