Does anybody else hate the stubble that gets left on your face after you shave? Like, just any amount at all. I honestly wish I could just make my face completely smooth, but no razor will do that. I shave at weird angles that end up cutting me just because I don't want any hair left on my face, and that still doesn't work. I've pretty much come to terms with the fact that I'm going to need to use a laser or something later in life because it makes me feel so unclean and uncomfortable. Oddly enough, I can't find anyone else who feels like this. Is there anybody on here who does, or am I just crazy.

I love the feeling of it, funnily enough.

I like how it looks, but go for a kiss and you lose a layer of skin.

Stubble on me? Hate it. It hurts when you rub your own face a certain way, and like you, I can't seem to get my face smooth no matter what razor I use. Also, facial hair on me looks terrible so I don't see a point in keeping it. I just want it all off!

I'm also not a fan of stubble, and luckily, don't have the most robust facial hair.

One thing you might try, when you shave: Take a washcloth, and get it really warm, as hot as feels comfortable, and apply these to your face several times right before shaving, as the heat will open up the pores, giving you a smoother/closer shave. And, use a good, sharp blade. Afterwards, rinse your face with cold water: this will close the pores back up, and give a smoother feel.

What I hate is the feeling of stubble in that area right beneath the lower lip, where people grow what is called a 'soul patch'. For some reason, stubble here feels worse than anyplace!

I wish I had the ability to grow stubble (not yet, but soon...)

On other guys, however, I find stubble quite attractive.

I quite like it. It's reminiscent of emery paper, which apparently is something I dig.

So does this mean you can file your nails on Batman's stubble?

Hate having stubble. Hate, hate hate it. There's always a weird spot on my neck where I can never quite get it so there's just always a little bit of stubble there and it drives me CRAZY.

I don't actually shave because I have acne-prone skin (I only use a trimmer). So I never get the feeling of stubble. Plus, my hair's thickness is very "thin" and not coarse, even on my face. But, I'd prefer to kiss a guy with a beard than stubble. I'm pretty sure it's "softer."

It depends which part of the body the stubble is on.

We're in the s*****y phase I guess. A bit more of a fad. Some guys have facial hair that once it is past the stubble phase is kind of soft...I don't mind that. I hate feeling actual sandpaper, 'er stubble, on guys faces. yuck
