Default product in hair

just out of curiousity

how many of you use something in your hair? gel, spray, etc...

I used both gel and spray for a couple months. They were fun for awhile. Then they got to be a bother and I went back to my beanie. much easier

not sure how to do this as a poll...I clicked the 'post as a poll' box at the bottom, but I don't see where I can enter what the choices are. :P anyway, if it doesn't work.

1) Always

2) Sometimes

3) Almost Never

4) Never

I would put myself as 3.

Nope, never, nada, nein. (Aha, Urinetown...)

On the very rare occasion that I do my hair, I might use hairspray though, but that's only for performing or going to something important.

Almost never. When I did musicals I had to use gel for one show, and spray it black for another. I do comb my hair every day and then mess it up. I wash it every morning and some additional nights.

One thing I've done recently is let my friend straight iron it, but it was too short to really do anything. However, she did use stay in conditioner that I really liked. I need to get my hands on some of that. And maybe I'll let her straighten my hair when it's longer and all wavy.

I'll use a bit of wax in my hair on special occasions, but that's about it. I can get away without using any.

I use spiking glue every day, not that I do anything outrageous with my hair.

haha, I hardly even brush my hair, though I do only ever wear it in a pony tail and when I was it the knots come out so it`s not a rats nest or anything... I just get up and stick it in a pony tail first thing.

I use mousse and smoothing gel alternating, whether I wear my hair smooth or a bit spiky.
I sometimes use hairspray too, especially when I put it up.
I never used to, till I cut it short.
Now I have to straighten it and such. But it still only takes me about 5 minutes.

Well, when I had my hair grown out, I used to use water and gel to keep it down. But, now that I keep it short, it requires nothing, which is convenient, so I don't do anything to it except run my hands through it to get rid of my just-woke-up look.

Once in a while I'll use mousse, but that's very occasionally, so I went with "almost never".

It's too short to do anything with right now though.
