So...rank these three for top three presidential candidates. Let's face it, its going to be one of these three whether you like it or not.

    For me:
    1. Bernie (Sure. Why not. He's entertaining, pretty cool, and is from Vermont!)
    2. Hillary (I would love to have a female president, but this one? Really?)
    3. Donald (No words can describe how little I think of this man.)

How would you gys rank these three and why?

    1. Bernie all the way- supported LGBTQ+ rights back in the 70's. Supports getting money out of politics.
    2. Hillary is ok. Wishy Washy escpecially on LGBTQ+ rights. Better than most though.
    3. Trump is a douche bag- He is homophobic, biphobic, transphobic, sexist, racist, and the list goes on.

Re: Donald, Hillary, or Bernie (mostly meant for americans, but others can add in too

    1. Bernie- I don't like him that much, but as far as politicians go he's one of the better ones I suppose.
    2. Hilary- Pretty much interchangeable with Trump, but I guess one has to be higher than the other. If she is nominated the next president will be a Republican, no doubt in my mind. She's a liar (which to be fair is kind of to be expected in a political figure, but she's significantly worse at covering her ass when she gets caught than most), she changes her opinion at the drop of a hat based on whatever will get her the most support at the moment, and overall she's just a horrible speaker. You cannot get elected president with such a blatant lack of charisma.
    3. Trump- Again, don't really dislike him any more than I do Hilary, but there are different reasons. The biggest factor of course being that he's out of his mind. Most politicians are very manipulative and do a good job of hiding their inner thoughts. Donald Trump doesn't do that. He says exactly what's on his mind, and what's on his mind is terrifyingly stupid. He doesn't have the capacity to hold a government position, but then again neither do a lot of other people we have running this country.

    Grr. I'm angry.

    Yeah.

None of them are getting my vote.

Bernie is a socialist, and I'll suspend my opinions of socialism for the time being. Hilary is... Trump is a complete ass-hat who just reminds me why I don't do politics in the first place.

    1. Bernie. I don't know if he'll get in (his views may have alienated the moderate/right leaning Dems) but I'd hope so. He's honestly the politician we need right now, someone who puts the people in our country first versus special interests.

    2. Hilary. I don't like how she's never really been consistent on a lot of her views over the years. Gay marriage, for example. Just 8 years ago she was against it. Now that most of the party supports marriage equality, she's jumped on that bandwagon too.

I'm not even giving Trump the time of day so here's the Republican candidate I could probably live with:

Chris Christie- Anti-LGBT but he's literally the only Republican candidate who acknowledges the concept of man-made global warming. Plus, he's one of the few Republican candidates who seems at least somewhat reasonable. I'm only really familiar with him from what I've seen in the debates though but he doesn't seem like the kind of person who dreams of a Handmaiden's Tale society like most of the other candidates.

Trump, in my opinion, is symbolic of everything that's wrong with America. He's boorish, misinformed, racist, hateful, and loud. He's got no political experience to speak of, he's got no understanding of foreign policy. We vote this man in, we're probably gonna find ourselves dealing with another Watergate or a war.

You beautiful bastard. You accomplished more in 3 sentences than I did in 2 paragraphs of angry incoherent rambling.

Note: I actually....don't like any of them (*le gasp*). The whole set up sucks. Badly.

    1. Bernie. At least he isn't a cruel liar.
    2. Hillary.
    3. Trump.

Oh, my family would have a field day telling me how ignorant I am if they saw this.

Re: Donald, Hillary, or Bernie (mostly meant for americans, but others can add in too

While none of the candidates are completely amazing, here is my take....

Bernie is easily the one I hold in the brightest light. The whole argument on him being a socialist is something I don't feel getting into at the moment. Regardless of he is a socialist or not, he supports LGBT+ rights and has for quite a while, he has said some pretty intelligent things about the current state of our society. He is by no means a perfect candidate, but who is?

Hillary just makes me mad. She has been so all over the place with so many different things and she completely lacks the charisma needed for a president, as Plattyrex said.

And then Trump. Donald Trump. I really don't think him running for president is any more legitimate than Kanye West's. He is not a politician, he is a business man, and an incredibly shitty one at that. On top of that he wants to deport just about everybody, wants Muslims to wear identification badges, wants mosques under video surveillance, the list goes on and on. In addition, he is just a joke. He does nothing seriously, except piss people off. Fuck Trump.

You know I never really thought about it, but I think you're right. If Kanye West could speak a coherent sentence with proper grammar he may very well be taken just as seriously as Donald Trump. That's pretty sad. On a plus side if we can figure a way to tarnish his knowledge of the English language Trump will become a joke candidate, so that'll be nice if someone can figure out how to do it.

Bernie across the board. Want nothing to do with Clinton or Trump.

I will say that the one thing that does worry me about Bernie is the fact that he identifies as a socialist. I'm not necessarily against the concept but that kind of leads back to my earlier point- it tends to alienate voters, especially the older voters, who either confuse the concept with communism or don't really understand the version he believes in. What will probably do him in, if anything, is that label.

I don't really like any of them but...

    1.Hillary
    2.Trump
    3.Bernie

To be honest, out of these, I can only take Hillary seriously. Both Trump and Bernie actually say some truthful things, but I doubt they are capable of doing any good and finding support in Congress.

    Bernie
    Hilary
    Trump

If Trump was a candidate for a major party here then he'd have been deselected by now, practically everything controversial he's said is political suicide over here. I doubt even UKIP would touch him.

The only two I could see getting selected and remaining selected would be Rubio and Bush, possibly Paul as well. That being said they'd be on the hard right of the Conservatives or more likely in UKIP and perennial backbenchers.

Bernie would probably be Lib Dem or SNP/Plaid Cyrmu.
Hillary would be considered Conservative by our standards if you can believe that.

No. No, no, no, no, no, and no. Bernie Sanders is NOT a socialist. He is a SOCIAL DEMOCRAT. There is a VERY. Clear. Difference. A socialist advocates the end of private property. A social democrat advocates a welfare state. Sure, he calls himself a socialist. But that doesn't mean he is one. I could call myself a dolphin, that doesn't mean I am one. So no.

    One, two, three, then.

    1. Bernie. His economics is the least omnicidal. He's also more socially progressive than any of the others.
    2. Hilllary. Although I'd much, much rather not vote at all than vote for Hillary. I hate her guts.
    3. Trump. He's just an assclown.
