    Hello,

Okay, so I often here of LGB talking about wanting to be straight, but for reasons such as society and/or religion. My question here is, in a world where anybody could be whatever sexuality they wanted to be and where every sexuality was acceptable, which would you want to be?

    Just interested.

omnisexual, basically i can be attracted to all genders, binary or non-binary. it's a little different from pansexuality though

I'd be attracted to someone regardless of gender. (I think pansexuality is the name for that but I could be mixing up my labels) I love being a lesbian but I would find it less confusing if I could just say that it didn't matter to me.

I can't really imagine my life any other way, i'll be gay.

if this were to happen then there would be some validity to the statement, "gay is a choice" just saying.

It's taken me so long to accept myself, and I finally feel like I'm in my own skin. I couldn't choose anything less than lesbian

I'd take what I have now. Or maybe 100% lesbian, wouldn't make much of a difference.

I'd stick with what I am. I can't really imagine myself with a different sexuality.

Maybe 100% androsexual or just pansexual with no preferences, would make things simpler. But yeah, my sexuality is one of the last things I'd care about changing if I were to move to an alternate world and could change one thing.

And the thing I say to people who say ''gay is a choice'', ''what's wrong with choosing to be gay [or any sexuality for that matter]?''

I know in this world you can't, but if you could, I don't see what's wrong.

Hmmm... now that is a hard question! It's also one that gets asked a lot in EC. Hmm... to be honest, I'd probably choose to be straight. Which is a really weird thought for me, can't imagine not being attracted to girls and being attracted to guys. That'd certainly be different.

Although actually I have a better idea, in this theoretical world is it possible to change biological sex at will and change back any time you wanted? Because if so when I was female I'd choose to be completely asexual and not date anyone what so ever, and when I turned male I'd be straight. I wouldn't want to be male 100% of the time I don't think, since I'd probably feel a little strange with my body. But now and then would make things interesting.

That way I could feel things for girls and no one would judge me and I could flirt with a lot more ease and then I could go back to being a girl and do my hair all pretty and have my high voice while singing without having to put on much of a falsetto, although I hear some guys can sing pretty high anyway. Plus I can sing "I feel like a woman" and then change to a male and laugh at what my life is and perhaps have a bit of an existentialist crisis. Unless the change was painful, then in which case not so much.

Um... yeah. This was probably a weird response now that I think about it. And I bet I get responses like "yeah but you wear a rainbow bracelet and clearly you're not proud" Yeah well... I do what I want, deal with it.

I'd choose the same orientation I have now, or possibly pansexual. Although I like how my orientation is, so I wouldn't feel much urge to change it.

I don't know, to be honest.
I'm really sad that guys don't turn me on, and I've always been sort of pretending, or rather, emulating the actions of others.

I think it would make it easier if I was a "real" bisexual. (Don't be offended, anyone D: )
What I mean is that I label myself as bisexual because I can, to some extend, fall in love with guys, but they don't really turn me on. So in an ideal world where I could choose, I'd want to be bisexual, omnisexual, pansexual, whatever the term is.
It would be so much more confusing to be attracted to potentially anyone, but on the other hand, it would make dating *so* much easier.

If everything was equal and acceptable, then I'd choose to be pansexual. I don't see why you wouldn't - apart from the fact that it may be difficult to wrap your head around at first (but if everything is equal then I'd assume that education about different sexualities would be far better and more informative than it is today), then I think it'd be great to be able to fall in love with anyone.

I think in an ideal world, everyone would be pansexual, actually. It would save a whole lot of us a whole lot of "coming out" troubles.
