It's been months of hard work and training but today I finished my final certification to work in law enforcement. I am so unbelievably relieved right now
Where do you want to work in law enforcement, like in which department? Btw, how long did it take you from start till the final certification? Anyway, I congratulate you on becoming a certified law enforcer!
I'm hoping to be a road officer. I have several apps out in different places of interest I've been in the academy since mid July so it has been just under 5 months. Weird to think about
Congratulations! It's fantastic that you have reached your goal, and that all of the work/efforts you put into the training has paid off! Really happy for you right now! Good luck with the applications.
Don't take this personally, but I'd die if I don't say this to you : Please keep in mind that with great power comes great responsability. Yes... Congrats.
Congrats. Actually getting a job and working it is much tougher than the academy, but that alone is a big achievement. And AtheistWorld, I hate to break it to you, but new guys don't get to go in and change the department right away. "Taking down the corrupt police state" is something you have to do on a personal level rather than the large scale. I wish you luck OP. You and I are in the same boat right now.
I just finished my graduation so I am officially done with the academy. It feels unreal, no more brutal exercise, no more studying late, and no more spending days on end in the same classroom. I have some strange changes up ahead. Wow
