I've been thinking about this a lot lately, usually when I dream (or at least the ones I remember especially recently) I tend to dream that I'm someone else and sometimes even that I'm an inanimate object or animal. I do still have dream where I'm myself, but usually when I do I do something that I usually wouldn't do in real life or probably wouldn't do in the given situation if it was real and I was awake. It usually leaves me wondering why I acted in such a way when I wake up.

Yes, I know I'm over thinking this and all but I'm incredibly bored so um.. yeah. What about you?

Well I usually manage to pull off lucid dreams so I am myself most of the time, with superpower!! A few times I dreamed I was a girl, or a pillow, or the Doctor.

I used to lucid dream a lot until recently, now I don't tend to have lucid dreams these days. I've had superpower dreams as well, usually in them I have forcefield abilities, and the ability to control fire. When I'm not lucid dreaming, I tend to have telekinesis abilities which I am terrible at controlling and I usually end up knocking myself out whilst trying to levitate an object by accidentally dropping objects on myself. Maybe it's a good thing I'm not magic.

Ooooh coool! A fire bender! I've only controlled fire once and never again, it's so damn hard. I can do water but performance varied and sometimes Earth too. Air is most difficult because it's hard to control an element that I can't see! Flying is nice but I will wake up from that. Moving objects comes quite natural to me but it isn't easy. The best thing I can do is make hot guys, just the right size :roflmao:

When I was younger the quality of my dreams were much better with beautiful landscape and I could make forest grow just by raising my hands. Now I'm struggling to cover the earth with ice by stomping my feet. Wonder what change :rolle:

More often than not, I dream in the third person. Is that strange? Oh well. It's either that, or I'm in first person for a second and that person is me but at the same time isn't.

All the times. I always tend to have dreams whether I'm watching wolves, running from them. Or hearing barking. In dreams though I always tend to be me or some one else dealing with some weird problem

I usually dream I'm myself, and when I do, I feel in control of my own actions, but not of the environment I'm in. (eg. Zombie apocalypse dream, I'm fully in control of myself, but I can't make the zombies disappear)

I'm always me. But sometimes I'm watching myself, like I'm playing God though, more than watching a movie. Weird, I never realised that until I read this thread.

I've always been myself in dreams, from the first person. Usually I do really reckless things that I would never do in real life, even though at the time I feel in control of what I am doing.

I don't think I've ever dreamt from any perspective but my own.

Sometimes I'm me and sometimes someone else. Sometimes I start out as either me or someone else, but by the end of the dream, i'm someone different.

I tend to be myself! Sometimes I'm still 'myself' but occupying the body of another dream character - to all intents and purposes I am them, but it's my own personality that drives the character instead of their own.

And sometimes both can happen within the same dream. One time, I spent the first half of the dream (unknowingly) as someone else, then swapped viewpoints and met the person I was previously being. The weirdest part is that her response to the dream events she'd been involved in were completely different to the one I was experiencing while being her.

    Dreams are strange.

I am me. But as a child I used to dream I was a male superhero.

In my dreams this varies a lot.
Often i am myself- Sometimes i watch everything happen from the outside of any body- sometimes i am a animal, some other creature (including Pokemon) or shapeshifter even or just a different human or i watch the actions of other people from their viewpoint to the extend of feeling their emotions in the situations they are in.
Really weird stuff is happening in my dreams though. And i love it :'D

Always myself. Usually with my mind and reasoning, as well.
