Farewell EC.

    I knew from the moment I signed up here that I wouldn’t – couldn’t – stay long. I’ll try to make this post concise and explanatory.

    Simply, I’ve decided to leave EC for personal reasons.

    I don’t want to make this a vain grasp for attention – but instead want to take a moment to thank some of the members here and explain a little bit about why I’m going. I’ve had people mysteriously vanish before, and while a part of me wanted to do that, I thought it wouldn’t be fair to the community which has helped me so much.

    EC has made a meaningful and lasting impact on me, helping right when I needed it most. Coming into it, I was desperate and despondent – with little hope for (and a stubborn resistance to) any support. But I was surprised to find a tight-knit community full of compassion and hope, despite the pain that many members here have undoubtedly gone through.

    This 8 month journey has been amazing, and I am truly grateful to everyone here for their support. I still have a lot of my journey left, but I have to focus on reality now. I do not belong here, nor anywhere else. Perhaps it is time I accepted that and actively strove to become the man I so admire and wish to be. You guys have been my family, and while I'm continuing my life alone now - I'll always remember when "Kodo" was me.

    To the staff, please take this as my resignation and account deletion request. It is my last post here, and I will not be logging in again after this. You head up a very honorable community, and I hope it goes on well for many years to come.
