Am I getting too used to English ? I've noticed myself beginning to make some horrible spelling mistakes recently. The same thing happened with my native language when I'd begun to speak English naturally... Are there anyway to prevent further damage ? Pleaaaaaase é_è
Your English is understandable, even though it has a few errors. I recommend that you continue to write English on here. And just in case you didn't catch the mistakes... Don't use spaces before your question marks. "Are you sure?" "Are there" should be "is there", because "way" is singular. Also, in this case "anyway" is two words: "any" and "way". "any way" = "quelque façon" "anyway" = "de toute façon", but it's not a perfect translation.
The worst part is that I actually catch all of them ! But afterward T-T And I didn't know about the space before the question marks, I'd never looked it up so I didn't know. Thanks.
French? Cool. Well, are you currently learning another language? That could be part of the reason as to why you're misspelling things. And honestly, if English isn't your native language, I doubt too many people are going to give you hell for misspelling some words. One of my classmates is from Mexico her first language was Spanish. She's pretty fluent in both languages, but sometimes she still has trouble spelling words or understanding what some words mean. And that's okay. Heck, I know native English speakers who can't spell simple words such as "destroy"... the person I knew spelled it was "distroy". My friend also used "oh most" instead of "almost". Being born and raised in the United States, I'm a native English speaker. I'm also a writer, so I've pretty much mastered English grammar and spelling. I don't know when or how you learned the language, but for me, trying to learn a second language is very difficult and frustrating. I realized how complex the concept of language was; reading, writing, listening to people speak. It took a full-year Spanish class for me to realize that, when I was trying to read Spanish books but think in English. The best thing you can do is not beat yourself up over it. If you misspell something, correct yourself and carry on. I'm sure you'll be fine.
Well the thing is that I didn't make those mistakes before é_è But yeah I'm currently learning Japanese (inb4 weeb... It's just cause I want to)... However I'm learning it through some English resources, so I can't really see it as the cause for it since I've only started recently.
Well, I'd say that makes sense, actually. Trying to concept a new language at first, fitting it all in your head. You may have not had the same case for English because both English and French use the same letters and are Latin-based. Learning Japanese sounds pretty cool, actually. Probably pretty challenging. Also, when you say "weeb", I'm guessing you're referring to a weeaboo. As Filthy Frank says, "There's a difference between being a person who just likes anime, and people that are full-on, unhygienic weeaboos." You're safe. Have fun learning Japanese.
