Does anyone else hate it when there's no snow for Christmas? I'm not very appreciative of where I'm living right now, what with the fact that I apparently have lead poisoning from drinking tap water, but something that really upsets me is that it's been so warm this year. It's nearly 60 degrees today and it looks kinda like it's gonna rain. We only got snow like once this year. I just kinda want to know if anyone else finds a lack of snow to make everything less Christmasy, cause it does for me.

There hasn't been any snow where I live either. Although at first it was nice not having to shovel a ton of it, haha, it doesn't feel very holidayish (if that's even a word) at all

I love the warm weather when you have to go to work and deal with getting up 15 mins early to warm up the the car and you have a big hunk of ice on the car windshield. Then you pray you don't slip or fall outside. I think after last year snow storms i am snowed out.

It is something of a downer to have a grey christmas, rather than a white christmas.

Yeah, it sucks because the sky is always so cloudy during winter. When there's snow on the ground it's reflective and it makes stuff brighter, but without it everything just looks sad if that makes any sense.

In the 20 years I've been alive, I've seen snow on Christmas twice - in 2009 and 2010. A white Christmas is very rare here, so I'm not disappointed when I wake up on the 25th of December and the landscape is green as opposed to white.

Those white Christmases were really special though. A crisp layer of snow, beautiful blue skies.. it was completely bizarre, like I was in a Dickens novel. Even people decades older than me - like my grandmother's age - have only experienced a handful of white Christmases. Might never experience one ever again.

I'm the complete opposite, almost every year I've been alive there's been snow on the ground come Christmas time. I think MAYBE once there wasn't any snow in time for the holidays.

I live in Southern California, there's no snow. I don't care. I can't imagine having to drive in a snowstorm.

I don't enjoy trekking through snow to the bus stop, but it is disappointing me that there will not be a white christmas...

I love snow! But it's been above freezing and rainy the last few days, so it's probably going to be a green Christmas :frowning2:

It's been in the 50s all month, and it might hit the 70s on Boxing Day...and I hate it. I love the snow and the bitter cold.

I thought you were talking about the 1950s then. The Doctor must've come early.

No snow here, but if one little snowflake fell on the Weather Center, we could call it a White Christmas.

It cracks me up that the east coast is barely getting any snow and it's like actually warm where they live and that it's actually snowing way more down here on the west coast.

Not really. Can't say I'm much of a snow person.

Where I grew up, there was a white AND damned cold Xmas every year, and it was lovely, one of my all time fav memories, including epic snowballfights. Then coming back home and chilling next to the fireplace, drinking a cup of warm fruit tea.

No snow here, next to the Rhein river. We have right now spring weather, there is not even rain, but plenty of craziness and consumerism...
