Sooo my parents took a lot of effort to hide the truth about Santa. Here's what my parents did. Contacted Nordstrom to make sure we always get the same santa Privately Yelled at Nordstrom for having "the wrong santa" bought wrapping paper specifically for gifts from santa used double sided tape (my mom NEVER uses it because of the price) hid gifts well, and took back gifts we found back told us that the reindeer don't like the end of carrots guarded bedrooms with gates to keep us from going downstairs Were any parents this crazy OCD when it comes to Santa or Christmas gifts?
My brother and I weren't that observant. I can't remember ever questioning how stuff was wrapped or written
My parents told my sister and I from the start that there was no such thing as Santa Claus. They said they were afraid that when we grew up, we wouldn't trust them if they lied to us when we were little.
My dad just hide the presents in the garage then waited till I was alseep to bring them in. They usually had to wait till 3 or 4 in the morning because I would try to stay awake. I also found when I was 7 or 8 that Santa wasn't really but I pretended not to know to get more gifts.
XD my parents were jusssst like that, I'm fourteen and I'll be fifteen in February, and even though I found out years ago about santa and got confirmation from my mom about him, my dad still denies that he isn't real, and tells me that 'he still believes in santa even if I'm faithless'. Its really pathetic!
I was a pretty dumb kid. My parents didn't really try and it took me until I was 10 to figure it out. My brothers found out when they were like 7.
