Plans this Christmas / New Years?

    First of all, Merry Christmas everyone :slight_smile:

    Second, do any of you have any plans for christmas? If you dont celebrate christmas, any for new years?

    I unfortunately don't have any plans. Not a big social person. And my family has been distant with me for a long time.
    I will be spending the day eating tons of yummy food with my mother and her boyfriend :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes: The rest of my family, ehhh hahaha

    My mother and I are going over to my sister's house to open gifts, have breakfast and lunch, then just going to chill. Probably should get some of my work for the upcoming semester done, but I'm sure it can wait.

    PARTY MY ASS OFF. Because this universe has graced me with stressful school and shit, but also a set of amazing friends whom love very dearly. And they reciprocate very nicely. They are fucking amazing. I love them. I LOVE THEM. AND THEY ARE SO FUCKING TALENTED AND SHIT. Woah. Fangirling. So yeah. PARTY.

    Christmas today we had a family lunch. My cousins are all away, so it was just immediate family and my grandma. It was really nice, actually.

    As for New Year's, I'm just going to babysit. I'll make quite a bit of money. I don't really understand the whole attraction to NYE - maybe if you're from out of town and haven't seen the fireworks, sure, but it gets so busy and you can't drive anywhere, and if you go out with a group, they always end up splitting up. I just think it's lame, so I'd rather make some money out of it!

    Nothing. I'm doing nothing for either Christmas or New Year's because I live in a house with a devout Witness mother and I've got no friends with which to celebrate. You guys go and have all the fun for me.

    I'll be spending Christmas with my family and--apparently--a few random people that my uncle invited. I'm not sure if I'm anxious about there being strangers at family Christmas or optimistic there won't be a fight this year because no one will do it in front of them.

    This thread belongs in the holiday season forum :grin: I slept through most of Christmas and I'll probably be playing video games in new years. A few days ago we found out that my dad is okay, and that's all the good news I need for now. I stopped listening after he said something about always knowing he's from another planet. I'm certain he's joking because he's an INTJ!
