Ever look at an old picture of yourself?

Today, coincidentally, in the car, there was a picture of my about 8 months ago with me at my birthday party, when I still had long hair. I looked so different... And it made me realize how much I have changed, grown older in such a brief time span. I dislike looking at pictures of me when I was younger, honestly.

 

All of the time. Makes me think about how much I've changed over the years.

 

Yes and god I look nothing like I use to! Sometimes I'll see pictures of people when they were little and then I look at them now and I think wow they still kind of look the same or I think damn is that the same person?

 

I seriously hate that feature on Facebook, lol. That's why I stopped using it.

I don't like my old pictures. I turn away, burn them, delete them whenever I could. I keep a few, though, as a reminder to show me how far I've come.

 

I have done the same. We all age but a short period and some pictures of me I felt I was hot. Before that brief time and now I feel ugly and Yuck!

 

Kind of. It's the clothes that confuse me! I recognize myself, but it's difficult to resisting laughing if I look at a picture of myself at 5 year old with a grin, wearing a blue sweatshirt, pink trousers, and sitting on a red tricycle.

I can see a lot of myself in pictures of my 10 year old self. I was wearing a green tracksuit with blue stripes :roflmao: I thought it was really cool at the time!

I recognize myself in high school pictures, but I have difficulty accepting that was me, because it reminds me of a bad time ^^;

Most of my later pictures are fine. My fashion sense hasn't changed dramatically since age 17, so that helps I used to have a lot of trouble looking at old pictures of myself.

My parents have old pictures all across the walls and I have an internal "What the f***" when I see one of mine because...Wow. Well, the me I see in those thought they were a girl. So, there's major feminine appearances going on in those pictures and I'm like "Oh dear..."

Don't mind the baby pics that exist, though. Mostly there's this set of me dressed as an angel. It's preeetty cute. (also you can't tell much gender wise with babies HA)

 

I see old pictures from a few years ago, and they're completely unrecognizable. Back then I did whatever my parents told me and dressed how they wanted me to, just sort of copying the crowd and trying to blend in. Now I'm so far from that, and relatives don't even recognize me. Heck, I even looked older. Seems like the sheer depression back then made me look several years above my age.

 

I want to burn every single trace of me in the past.

 

Yeah... Then I realize I was ugly all along. XD

 

I see old pictures of myself and think "Daaaaaaaamn, I looked like such a twat." :roflmao: I was such a dorky looking child. Now I'm a much less dorky-looking adult, and I don't much care for any picture of me taken earlier than 2007.

 

I was not a cute child. I was a cute toddler, but I looked awkward as a kid and a youngster.
And don't get me started on pictures form my teenage years. When I see them, I'm like, "Who the hell is that emo kid? *cringes*". And when I see pictures from my early 20's, I can hardly recognise that dirty hippie.
I'm so glad I finally look somewhat decent.

All in all, I don't photgraph well. Double-chin, cheesy grin... I just pray that I don't really look like that in real life xD

 

Yeah, every time I think about growing my hair out a bit, I look at pictures of when it was down to my shoulders and laugh at how much of a hippy I look like

 

I can always recognize myself in old pictures It's just the pictures from when I was 14-17 I hate. Least photogenic years of my life :lol:

 

Eww I hate it! I look back into the past and I looked so awkward and gangly. I love looking at pictures of me as a little kid though ^_^

 

Freaking hate it, although it might be for obvious reasons. And there are literally thousands of photos out there of me and my siblings. 0_0

I looked at a picture of myself at 18, and then a picture of myself at 15 and have become astutely aware that I'm balding. I'm going to have a receding hairline.
