I'm glad Christmas is over and can't wait until January 2nd. The holidays suck. Anyone else feel this way?

For me... it's I can't wait until May 20th. That's when I finally get out of school and I have the entire summer off.

I like not having to do school, but I hate everything else about Christmas time.

I just wasn't feeling too festive this year. I'm looking forward to 2016 and how I can make it a better year

I'll be glad when it is all over! Two personal memories close to Christmas and some family irritate the hell out of me.

I don't celebrate Christmas, and while I'm happy for the people that do, the one thing that does irritate are the constant Christmas songs in every store you go to. For some reason I think they're a little more irritating when you don't have the gloss of the Christmas hype. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes: The shops are still playing them... I think I'll have to wait until after New Year to be safe!

I have always found Christmas to be a very stressful time - all the usual reasons - so in recent years I have done less and less towards it, and encouraged my family to take my wishes seriously. This year I sent 5 or maybe 6 cards, bought no presents and received only one! Best result ever. Unfortunately, you cant escape the all pervading awfulness that is the run up to the event.
I am basically agnostic I suppose, how do people with non-christian beliefs cope with it?

I'm sad. I always get the " post- Christmas blues" as I call them, basically from boxing day until about April, so tbh I can't wait until next October when shops start Christmassing again.

I actually think a lot of people feel this way. You're definitely not alone.

I hate the time of year after Christmas, when I go back to school and be very tired. I love Christmas itself though
