What kind of career do you have/want to have? Can you be out in the work place at this career?

I myself am working towards becoming a high school teacher, but sadly because I live in GA I most likely will need to keep my sexuality hidden. Especially with sexual orientation not being a protected class here.

I want to move abroad for a few years to teach English as a foreign language, and then move back home and open my own business, most likely a bar or something of that sort.

I want to work in mechanical engineering because I've always really been into robotics and stuff like that at school. Preferably, I'd be doing robots but I also like digital stuff too.

I want to be an actor in musical theatre. Sometimes that ambition seems pretty unlikely and impossible, but who knows. I'm gonna die anyway, may as well give it a shot.

I want to work in human resources, ideally for a company that does an important service (i.e. healthcare, education, nonprofit). HR is in charge of making sure everyone plays nicely together and keeps the company staffed with a talented and diverse mix of people, so it's a pretty open-minded field because it recognizes the importance of workforce diversity, but it depends on the company you work for. I wouldn't work anywhere that didn't have nondiscrimination protections established by the company and/or the local law.

I want to be a meteorologist, studying weather/storms. As far as I know there's no great stigma towards LGBT people in science, so hopefully I could be out.

I would like to be an engineer or an accountant because they have good job security and pay well.

Ideally, I'd like to be a storm chaser or have my own carpentry business so that I can be my own boss and set my own hours.

    Anything creative.

Something I can do at home or in a closed space with as few people as possible. Maybe a trainee from time to time.

I want to be an illustrator, and I don't think sexuality will be an issue with that kind of job

I studied urbanism. No problem to be gay in urbanism/architecture.

But of course, after 5 years of university, it was impossible to find a job in that field. So now, I work in fashion. Take a guess if it's accepted to be gay there

Not sure if I stay here though. I love the company I currently work for, but in the long run I either want to go back to urbanism, or open my own bar. That's something I've always wanted to do.

I want to become an astronomer, or (I know it may be difficult but...) a particle physicist. All I know for sure is I wanna find out what dark matter is made of, how it works, and how it can be used to benefit mankind.

A job as a science teacher or professor may work as well though.

I do know for sure that I want to get into writing and drawing my own graphic novels on the side of whatever career I get into. I've got too many stories brewing in my head, and they're all too vivid to simply put into regular novels.

I plan on going to Law School and becoming a Lawyer. Kind of always wanted to do it, but I'm still young so I may end up changing my mind. Who knows, we'll see!

One day I hope to either tour with a band or be a solo artist.

I'm in IT. I haven't noticed much discrimination in the field.
