I recommend you check out all the famous tourist spots; Big Ben, Tower Bridge, Buckingham Palace, London Eye, Madame Tussauds, London Dungeon, Downing Street... also catch one of the tourist buses as they'll take you to all the best spots in London.

Also, in that area, the South Bank often has cool stuff going on, so walking around that's always fun. I'd also recommend Camden Market, it's got some fantastic stuff, and really interesting little nick-nacky things. There are also loads of theatres in the West End, so if you're into drama you should go and watch lots of plays ![]()

Maybe just explore and go everywhere you can. London has a billion things if you go to the right places. Google can tell you about them. ![]() One of the best things is the London Eye. It's magnificent to go up there and see the city stretching for miles. |

If you're in Dublin - there are 4 main gay spots in the city, that's The Dragon, The George, The Front Lounge and Pantibar. All are fun in their own way, but The George is probably the best one in which to get some action ![]() In terms of touristy stuff - the Viking Splash Tour is awesome, you get driven around Dublin on a World War 2 landing craft, wearing a Viking hat and the craft goes into the river too. Also the Guinness hopstore, Trinity College, the Phoenix Park, Christ Church Cathedral etc. Do be warned though - Dublin is REALLY expensive. Outside of Dublin - Galway is awesome. Great student city with great nightlife (but the gay scene isn't great, and would be better in Cork).

One of the more intriguing theories was covered in the movie From Hell which involves essentially a conspiracy to cover up an illegitimate heir to the throne of England. It's likely though that he was a member of the aristrocracy or wealthy elite because in order to do much of what he would have done he would've needed official training as a surgeon. That said, at the time the police's official position was that it was likely a member of the lower class like a butcher or leather worker (due to a piece of torn leather at one of the crime scenes), but it seems unlikely that a person like that would have the training to properly and neatly remove organs without damaging them. |

Wexford is picking up in terms of night-life, but I'd recommend a city if you're really looking for a gay scene |

| sine qua non Full Member Gender: Male Orientation: Gay Out Status: Out to everyone Location: Toronto, ON Posts: 3,332 Join Date: Apr 2005 | If you have any liking of musicals AT ALL, go see Wicked while in London. You can also pick up little printed gay magazines while in London that list clubs and events--they're usually weekly. I can't remember where I got mine, probably outside a club. They also have specials for reduced or free cover to get in. For gay stuff you can also do "research" online. If you like museums and stuff that somewhat non-standard, I'd highly recommend this one: http://www.soane.org/ It's totally free (well, by donation) but they have limited hours so check the website before you go. It was recommended to me by two totally different people and sadly I only got to visit for about an hour but it was pretty cool. Also, if you like transit (I fell in love with the Underground, definitely get an Oyster pass when you are there), you can check out The London Transport Museum http://www.ltmuseum.co.uk/ It's in Covent Garden which is a cool area of the city anyway (touristy but fun). Learning about how transit happened in a major city is always a cool way to explore how the city developed. |
