I'm just wondering if you believe in a god in any form. Not necessarily asking if you practice an organized religion of any sort, just whether you believe in any sort of deity. PLEASE be respectful of other people's views and beliefs, but feel free to go into details as to why you feel the way you do. As long as you aren't attacking the opposite viewpoint, anything you say should be fine. Please don't attack each other, kay?

I believe in a creator. But not one that gives a crap about us. Or can control our lives or decisions.

    So kind of?.....

As of now: Science, and science only. Huge claims require huge evedence, and as incredibly unlikely as it is, if some all powerful or all knowing being were to chose to reveal themselves and expain or apologize for the damage they've either been unwilling of preventing, or incapable to stop. I personally beleive it was a combination of nature itself and human stupidity that has brought the world into the situation it is in rather than a supernatural explaination, and it would take a lot to change my mind. As for the male one somehow documented without any proof whatsoever by ancient desert dwellers who apparently stuck around on the wrong side of history, I feel I can give a safe "no". If they really could repay the world for the past crimes they alledgidly commited then I'm all for it, but I don't feel they even happened in the first place.

I'm not quite myself at the moment, if I offended anyone that was far from my intention. This is merely my thoughts.

I believe that God is not a being but a force, more like Fate or Karma or "The Force." It basically represents the sum and interaction of all actions and things.

I don't believe, but I can't disprove nor do I feel the need to do so. The world's a big place and there could be a god, or many gods.

Yes, and I believe in Jesus and that He is God. However, I do not feel like some that Christianity is "under attack". In addition, humans have free will and must make their own decisions for themselves. Lead by example rather than words/forcing your beliefs on someone.

I'm honestly puzzled regarding atheist who believe "When you're dead you're dead" period ... that's it. "God" to me is another name for the universal life force, as some interpret it. I'm leaning against the idea that Jesus ever existed, but on the other hand I think that's beside the point, as the New Testament is mostly symbolism and parables.

No. I don't go so far as to say "there is no god" because I can't prove it any more than a Christian (or Muslim or Hindu) can prove their gods do exist, but I believe the chance of any god existing (especially because there are so many to pick from throughout history) is so infinitesimally low that it's not even worth entertaining the thought.

And no, I don't care if someone's religious. Your beliefs are your business, not mine. Just don't force them on me.

Prove me that God exists, and I'll believe in him. Prove me that God doesn't exist, and I'll believe he doesn't exist.

Meanwhile I'll just be honest and say that I have no fuckin' idea.

I used to believe in the Christian god, because that's how I was raised. But now, I'm not so sure. I don't think I believr in god. I'm reluctant to just give up on any sort of afterlife. I clung to Christianity when I was growing up because I needed the hope that I would get to see my mother again some day, and that her death when I was 6 happened for a legit reason, even if I didn't understand it. I still struggle with the whole afterlife thing. I don't want to believe that there isn't one and when we die, we're just dead in the ground. I really hope there's some sort of afterlife because I want to see the family I've lost again.

But I think that if there is a god, it's not the god that some Christians think. For example, I don't think god cares if you're not straight, if he does exist. And I don't think he'd agree with all the hate that has been spread in his name, especially all the violence in his name. But I don't know if the god is like the Christian god, or if he's more like a god from another religion. Maybe it's a goddess, instead of a god. Or maybe there's more than one deity. I really don't know what I believe anymore. I'm trying to learn about other religions to see if any of them resonate more with me. I think that there is something more than just science though. I think there is something unseen out there. Whether it's a deity, multiple deities, or some sort of force. And I don't think we'll ever fully understand it.

Actually I lean strongly toward "no," just think the neutral people are hilarious. But I can't rule anything out.

I do not. I believe that we didn't show up by chance, but i don't think there is a god/goddess/gods behind it
