I feel really depressed very often. What makes you feel happy and inspired when you feel sad? For me, it's this ad. Whenever I feel sad, I type in love has no labels and watch the love has no gender ad. I seriously love that ad! What makes you feel happy? (lol, I post way too many threads, my apologies)
for me at least i'm a very logical person (even though i'm terrable at math) so think thing through and try to find out whats the best soulution i may even think for days or just one night once i got it figured out i put the plan into action ether it turns out alful or turns out just like i planed it to so for me its just to think it through.
In my case, I find impressive artists who make my incredibly jealous. I'll sit down and think "Okay, lets keep trying until I'm as good as this person!" To be honest, it's probably far from healthy but it works for me most of the time. Slow but steady.
I get inspiration by doing things myself. Sometimes I'll go for a walk, walk the dog. Sometimes, I'll do some homework and then feel awesome now that I finished it. I don't know though thats just me. ^_^
My nephews. They are the only ones that really affect my mood in a major (positive) way. I'll be sad when they get older and don't want anything to do with me anymore.
Cheesiness warning... The universe. What were the chances of you being put on THIS planet? What were the chances that you were even born? If you weren't born how would you have known who you were? The universe is beautiful, and every person seems to reflect that in their own way. Even the jerks out there have some way of showing their individuality and beauty. Sorry if this just sounds like rambling.... It sounded a lot easier to put into words in my head. :eusa_doh: Either way, I hope that you feel better soon!
I do that as well, and its not too unhealthy, unless your like me who begins to obsess over people... though something else that inspires me is what I would call "Constructed noise", so an example of that would be the transitions in The Beatles song "A Day In The Life" or something that transitions to different styles, like Gorillaz "Empire Ants". I get so inspired by amazing pieces of music, and it keeps me going, it helps to get the bad sounds and thoughts out of my head.

I guess I find it from the people around me. While of course there are people who I hate, I'm lucky enough to have so many others who are so kind and caring, it makes me want to try and remain kind just like them. I've also seen people fall hardcore to very low points and they're the ones who give me the determination to try and be as best as I can. when it comes to being inspired towards what I want to do with my life, I want to be a translator so anytime I encounter a translator who is translating to their native language from another language that they also had to go to classes for or even move to the country to become nearly 100% immersed in the language to learn, it gives me inspiration and shows that what I want can be done.
Anime and in particular Space Brothers. Like recently I have been getting some small episodes of depression. I rewatch some of the episodes and I feel fine again. Another thing is the song Dive in the sky.
Cats make me happy. More specifically, looking at cat pics make me happy. They remind me that there is something wonderful and cute in the world. And Ellen Degeneres.
My inspiration (to draw or create clothing designs) is going out for a walk because I can literally find anything to use as my inspiration when I'm out. Especially when I'm walking around LA
