I was wondering how many other people at EC have been in the boy scouts or have had some sort of interacting with them.

I was I was well into my final months of my Boy Scout youth membership by the time I learned I was bisexual. I didn't tell anyone in the Troop about it (at least, not the adult leaders) and I still really don't intend to in the near future. I'm pretty disappointed that BSA troops still have the option to exclude none straight adults. Personally, as an Eagle scout, the BSA has changed my life for the better but it needs major improving.

I used to go to Cub Scouts, the junior version (not sure if you have it in America). I couldn't move up to Scouts because I can't make the day it's on. I got to carry the flag for our Cubs troop on St. George's Day once.

In the UK it's gender-neutral, although it's all the same kind of concept.

I was and hated it (my Mum made me go as she felt she spend too much time with me and then volunteered there so she could be there).
