High school's alright with me, albeit the drama isn't much fun at times. I'd prefer for it to just be over with so I can get on with my life and transition, but maybe I'll look back on it as a good time when I'm older. Who knows?

All I can say is that middle school was definitely worse.

Better than middle school for me at least. :/ You're almost done though, so hang in there.

I don't know. I like learning. lol It's just the people that sucked. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes: If I could do it over again, I would just choose a better school with more things I would've wanted to take. I probably could've earned a scholarship if I stayed focused on my studies over socializing. Ahh well.

I feel you. Worst fucking time of my life so far, gave me nothing but worries, depression & anxiety. I just want it to be over.

This is my first year, and I'm surprised by how fast it went. Only 5 months left.

Grade 9 was a terrible year for me but by grade 12 I had a new group of friends and was involved in a lot of activities. Then again, I still hadn't even really considered my sexuality and was trying to be straight at that time.

I will say this however, it gets better after highschool. In College & University, people gradually stop being f*ckwads and start turning into adults. This is a time you can re-invent yourself, strike out on your own and begin to be your own person, free from the bullshit of highschool. In the real world none of that shit matters. Popularity means absolutely nothing. Your character will matter so much more once you've graduated.

This is absolutely true. I can't speak for the US, but in the UK the atmosphere at university is completely different.. there are no 'popular kids' or cliques.. there is such a large variety of different people from all over the world that petty shit like the above is rendered obsolete. Though in the UK we have no frats or sororities, so all sorts of different people end up living in the same house and sometimes it works really well..

Just ride it out.. not long to go.

There are some days that I do feel what your feeling. But sometimes there are days were I love school and all my friends are pretty nice to me xD. I had to move to a new high school this year, and it was really hard for me. I had to leave most of my friends and make new ones. It was...kinda exhausting to be honest lol. But, there are a handful of teenagers in almost every highschool that will be there for you and support you. You just have to find them eventually, it may take time.
And i'm sorry things are not going well for your school life :/ Many of us have been there too.

Honestly, I kind of like high school. I mean sure it's still school so there's always work, and rules, with the occasional awful teacher thrown in the mix. But I DO like high school because this is the first time in my life where I'm prospering socially. Oddly enough it started right about when I came out which is when some people fall to pieces. I started doing sports, going to GSA meetings (and would later go on to be Vice President) and I've recently joined PFLAG. So all in all, high school could be worse.

High school pretty much stinks. Though, being more of an introvert makes it harder, in my opinion.

However, I think college is much, much better. That's something to look forward to. Keep going, you're almost there!

It does but please try to look at it like this. High school is an extremely small part of your life which is inconsequential in the long term, in a few years you'll never have to see anyone from there again, unless you like them enough to go out of your way to do so. Focus on the academics and any subjects you particularly enjoy, and it'll be over before you know it.

To be frank, School itself sucks. I never did like it. And now high school is the worst of all.

I used to say that. Now I don't really talk to any of my old friends anymore, or have any new ones to speak of, and I'm like, high school was pretty good. Never had to worry about overtime, or going in on holidays or weekends. Got to hang out with my friends every day, always knew I'd have a meal, had some classes I enjoyed. High school is okay.
