My Uncle once a month has a big session, but he's a terrible Dungeon Master and everyone gets too drunk to finish the session. lol

Although my family are actually more into Roll-master (and older version)

I used to play a bunch back when I was at college, the first time, I still have the "pound o' dice" I bought for just such occasions.

My character was sort of a whore. Ha!
He'd sleep with shop owners to get a discount on whatever he wanted to buy. And when it came to attacking, I could never roll good. But when it came to seducing the shopkeeper or my STD check, I always rolled a critical.

I used to play it a bit. The best though was playing through Baldur's Gate 1,2 etc. with my older brother.

by chance i played my first D&D game ever yesterday, and it was pretty fun. i have an awesome plot line developed for when i am the dungeon master

D&D 4th is pretty damn good. I'm a gamer, but not much D&D, actually. Of course I started on D&D, but our group plays a lot of stuff under the Savage Worlds system, especially Deadlands, Necessary Evil, some sci-fi stuff, et cetera.

And, we have a pretty good GM, although he's not reliable as far as actually getting a game around and keeping it going. If we miss a week, it's generally death for an entire campaign.
