Is there no thread about Donald Trump yet? If there is, could someone please send me a link?
Or are people already just too tired of discussing him on here?

So, what do you think about him? I just read a post by him on facebook and the comments and I'm feeling so sad and desperate actually. (Is it allowed to post a link to his post?)

You can link to Facebook I think. I can't imagine it includes your personal information. Donald Trump is talked about quite a lot in this section, but he has no dedicated thread yet. He scares me. He is a nasty hateful man, and I am scared that his hate and greed will spread to the rest of America.

Also if you want to talk, you can post on my wall. (*hug*) Depression is a bitch.

My main criticisms of him are
    1) Banning Muslims is unconstitutional
    2) building a wall to keep out illegal immigrants is too expensive and unnecessary
    3) He wants way too much government control.

I rather like him. If he's really as evil as people say, I can't wait to see what will happen!
Some men just want to watch the world burn

    Alright, so here's the link.

Read through the answers to the comment by Issam Bayan. Warning: Could make you a biiiiit angry.

I can't believe, it's happening again. It's all the same, over and over again. Can't people learn from their mistakes? Why can't people just be tolerant and respectful? I'm actually so sad of this world.

I mean, what about that phrase "Make America great again"? Is it the freakin' holocaust 2.0 or what?

Looking on from across the pond, I do find him quite entertaining. He seems to be charismatic, larger than life and not afraid of what people think of him. I respect him for bringing up ideas that other people would not dare to, like banning Muslims from the US (although I don't agree with this, it takes guts to admit that it's usually Muslims blowing folks up).

On the other hand, he also comes across as crude, bigoted and full of himself. I don't think he would make a very good President, because he is driven by a voracious appetite for wealth and power rather than a wish to improve the USA. A good leader unites the country: Donald Trump alienates people with crazy statements.

I don't even know if he's really to be taken seriously. A big part of me thinks he just wants to see how far he can push this, with no real desire to become president.

He's an embodiment of everything that is wrong with the right wing. I really wish he'd just disappear.

Disgusting. I can only hope he is a plant by Clinton. The fewer people in this world with both borderline Fascist ideals and wealth, the better.

He belongs in business; not the government.

Otherwise, here's a hilarious song by Rucka Rucka Ali.

This has actually been studied before, Donald Trump speaks and writes with the intelligence level equivalent of a fourth grader. It's also been proven that whenever he's asked a direct question, he'll give an intricate answer that doesn't actually answer the question, and most of what he says never matches up. He speaks with both sides of his mouth and has a huge mouth for that matter. Also, he has almost no political experience, if any at all.

Let me just say, secluding America from the rest of the world will not make us "great". Embargoing ourselves from the rest of the world would also be really bad for our economy. I honestly expected that since Trump has money that pretty much speaks for him, he would at least know a little bit about economics. He's extremely childish and immature. I think he just likes hearing himself talk.

I can only imagine what he would say about LGBTQ+ rights after hearing some of the things he's said about Mexicans, women, Muslims, etc.

No it doesn't. Gay people are stereotypically presented as weak and inferior even in LGBT supportive films with your average bullied, misunderstood teen who happens to be gay, and is probably rake-thin. They are made to generate sympathy from viewers, but it also implies that gay people are weak which is why speaking up against people has never been a problem in most countries until fairly recently due to the stances taken on discrimination.

Unlike homosexuality, being a Muslim is a choice and yes, speaking out against Islam is far, far more dangerous than speaking against gay people. In the case of the latter you may get into a lot of internet fights. In case of the former, you can die for that.

Being a homophobe can cost you your job and land you in jail as we have seen on many occasions. Islamic terrorism is a big problem but so is Fundamentalist Christianity. The Bible is being used to justify a lot of crimes today and Christian preachers do call for the killing of people.

Oh so defensive when someone tries to take away your rights but you are so willing to take away the rights of other groups. Trump will throw you under a bus in a second to suit his political objectives.
