We woke up today to find our garden covered in a foot of snow

And school got cancelled today!

I'll upload some photos of the snow later.

None of the roads are open and those that are have jack-knifed lorries on them >__<
All schools are shut too.

it only started like 3 hours ago (I havent slept at all tonight so I have watched it fromth first few flakes and I love the snow!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am going to go out and play in it once all lectures have ended =DD)

Yup, we have about a foot of snow here too. I'll take some pictures of it after school, which unfortunately ISN'T cancelled. I swear our headmistress has her own snowplough to make sure we have to come in.

aww this sucks, its snowing loads but since it was so wet before it wont lie much, and as I was walking back from my lecture it just turned to hail stones and was sore.
Snf uni wouldnt be cancelled anyway cause all of us just need to walk in.

I was like okay this sucks everyone is getting snow but me, but about an hour ago we got a ton, the garden was covered in a matter of minutes!
So naturally I get all excited and go outside and run around in the snow and lie in the snow and roll in the snow and write in the snow and play ukelele in the snow and sing in the snow and attempt to do a handstand in the snow but fail miserably.
We haven't had snow like this here for absolute donkey's years.

on the downside apparently oxfordshire got the least of anywhere in the country and school was as normal
