The 2 song that mean the most to me are "Do Nothin" by The Specials, because I am living the song. I find my self yelling "Walk across this same old lonely street..." when I'm walking the 3 miles home everyday from school lol. And the second one is "Beautifully People" by Terry, Blair, and Anouchka (if you can't tell I'm a bit obsessed with Terry Hall lol) because the songs about being your self no matter what.

I feel tempted to say ''anything by Title Fight'' cause they're my go-to band when I feel like sh*t but it wouldn't kill me to choose just one song so: Leaf by Title Fight. Because the lyrics are like straight out of an angsty teenager's diary (so, my unexistent diary).

''I never was able to say just how I was feeling'' ''I feel lost, I feel boring'' ''I feel scared of knowing I'm just a single leaf in the wind blowing''. So yeah, that. I also like them because I don't look ''emo'' and I can't relate to all those emo bands that look emo but they look just like regular guys who have a lot of angsty feelings so

Oh my gosh! That is totally one of my favorites.

"Blindness" and "Grow up and Blow Away" by Metric
"I want to leave but the world won't let me go"
"If this is the life, why does it feel so good to die today? Blue to gray, grow up and blow away..."

Good depression songs. Metric is the best.

Your Type by Carly Rae Jepsen: I can connect to those lyrics so much. 'I'm not the type of girl for you // and I'm not going to pretend // that I'm the type of girl you call more than a friend'

After my dog died every time I heard Gravity by Sara Bareilles I thought it was about him. And I cried so hard! Even though I don't cry anymore when I hear the song (well, I don't cry too much) the song still has a special place in my heart. Right next to my dog.

    That's a great song.

I would say "So Small" by Carrie Underwood. It's not my favorite song of all-time, but I really like it and the message is so real.

I interpret it as being young, lost, confused, and then eventually realizing that things you thought were so important in life were really just small and insignificant.

Queensryche - Take Hold of the Flame

This song made me want to become a singer, and has been sort of a constant source of hope in my life. The first time I heard it, my hairs stood on end. I was completely blown away by the performance. It kick-started my love-affair with Queensryche that has continued to this day.

Well i guess i should answer my own question.

"I See a Darkness" by Johnny Cash, or the original by Will Oldham. Both versions are great. This song has more meaning than any music I've ever heard, and it describes my state of mind to a T. Depressing and hopeful at the same time. Absolute life-changer.

Two songs will forever steal my heart:

" Dub plate " by Kenny rogers, Pharoahe Monch, and Wyclef Jean. Actually, I like the whole Album " Ecleftic ", but that's my favourite song. My dad used to play this all the time in the car when i was little, and it brings back a lot of memories, and it's basically the greatest thing i've ever heard, when it comes to Rap music.

" Overworld Theme"- Super Mario Bros.2 (1988) by Koji Kondo. This is simply the most emitional song i've ever heard. It's so manic and cheerful too. It's the one videogame I could listen to all day long. It's my go to song when i'm happy or sad. It's the only song i know that can be happy and sad, fast and slow, all at the same time. I've never heard anything quite like it. I think it's unique. I can never quite put my finger on what exactly it is i like about this song, but that's my best guess. It's never let me down, and hopefully never will. PS, i'm in the comment section of like every remix of this song on youtube! I literally start my day of listening to this song. Talk about a deficated fan :/

Inbetween Days by The Cure means the most to me because it's almost like my family's "theme song": we all like it and everyone has different memories attached to it.

    Sober by Kelly Clarkston

It took me three months of physical therapy to be able to stand for the first time (with help).

Also, I was with my ex-girlfriend for thee months before she started abusing me. I think back on those three months, and they are so beautiful. They stand in such stark contrast to the next nine months I spent with her.

There are other examples of things that always seem to happen in threes with me. So yeah, Sober.

I was 11 years old when we were attacked on 9/11 and it was probably one of the most memorable (in a bad way) days of my life. I belong to the youngest group of people who knew the significance of the event the moment it happened.

This song has brought me to tears at various moments:

Alan Jackson's "Where Were You When the World Stopped Turning"

You Can't Win by Kelly Clarkson

It just goes to show that you can't ever be what everyone else wants you to be, as what everyone else wants you to be is always something different.
