How do you spend your Valentine's Day?

    As a single person (I should add I've been single for 20 years), I really don't celebrate Valentine's Day. It is just another day for a guy like me.

    However, I'm not the type of person to sit in bed with ice cream (though I do love ice cream) crying about my lack of a relationship. I'm also not the type of person to say, "Ew, couples. I hate love." I'm glad for people who are in love and I'm happy for them, even though I feel a little jealousy. I hope to be able to celebrate Valentine's Day in the upcoming years.

    How do you spend your Valentine's Day? I'd love to hear from some single people and people in relationships. :slight_smile:

    As someone who is single, I usually make Valentine's day into a family/ friend thing. This year I'm going to get chocolates and give them to the people who mean the most to me. Then I'll watch a movie or something.

    Valentine's day is a Sunday this year, so I'll probably be doing homework :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

    Anyway, I doubt I'll have a relationship soon, so it means nothing to me. I have friends who are in relationships and don't even care about it either.

    If I was in a relationship, I think I would like to celebrate it a bit, mostly because I'm the kind who likes sweet romantic stuff x) Nothing over the top, though :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

    I think you should spoil yourself and eat ice cream anyway. Don't think too much about relationships. Watch an action film :grin:

    I'll spend the day doing whatever I want. I don't mind if my boyfriend tags along or not.

    Anyway, the day reminds me of a guy who ranted about Valentine's day being offensive to his spiritual beliefs. I kind of want to meet him again lol

    Valentine's Day also happens to be my birthday, so I do, you know, birthday stuff :slight_smile: I'm not even into soppy Valentine's stuff so I can't imagine doing anything grew other than that.
