Hey y'all! This is for everyone to participate in, regardless of gender orientation.

    If you could change your name;

    Would you?

What would you change it to?

I'd love to change my name honestly. I'd change it to either Felix or Parker.

Emmlee or Winter...there's a story behind both and there are a few people who know me only by those names....

I plan on changing it. I don't think I can share that name, simply because it's rare and I'd be easily found on some of my social media sites through it (which is against the rules here) BUT I did consider changing it to Eric, Duane, Joey and Danny just to name a few. I feel that the name I have now suits me better than any other name I thought I wanted and I'm more than likely going to change it to that.

I definitely would; I would change it to one of the names I made up. I have a rough idea of which one, but like CyanChachki, it's a rare name and I go by it on some other sites.

    Either that, or I don't mind using a gender-neutral short-form or initials.

Cody, of course! Touchingly, my mom told me she's looked into our state's name change laws. She might help me with that when I'm 18. I know deep down she's a little heartbroken that I'm changing my birth name she chose, but the fact that she supports me to this extent means the world.

Naaaaaah, I really like my name. It's uncommon enough that not many people have it, but common enough that saying it out loud doesn't sound like you are casting a spell—in my native language, at least. Germans in particular have a lot of trouble pronouncing it; it's always funny to see them try to get it out like phlegm.

    Nah, I already did :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Though, my birth name was absolute hell. I hated it. It was super common and super feminine. Plus, pretty much all the girls who had that name were jerks. It didn't fit me at all, to be honest.

Now, my name is old and pretty uncommon, but, it fits me to a T :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Yeah. My birthname is pretty common, and a bit boring. I'd like to change my name but I haven't found a good one yet.

I would easily take the last name of a partner if it were easier than mine. I get so tired of having to spell mine out. I have also considered changing my first name to something gender neutral

I like my name, especially the meaning behind it. It's quite common, but I don't really care about this. I'm also really used to my name, I can't imagine suddenly having a different name.

I would legally change it to the nickname I go by.

Absolutely. I'm going to legally change it to "Matthias" because there's absolutely no way I'm sticking with my stupid-ass female birth name once I get a chance to live as an out transguy.

My name is pretty generic, but I don't think I'd ever change it. That being said, I love those kinda retro names. They aren't too common, but people don't struggle to pronounce or spell it

Yes I would change it to Elizabeth, no idea why I just like the sound of it.

I like the name "Miles" just fine, but it is very strictly masculine (it means "soldier" in Latin), and I've always wondered what it would be like to have a more gender-neutral name like "Riley". But in all, I wouldn't change my name given the chance.

As of now, I want to change my name to Gray. I really dislike my birth name and would change it in a heartbeat.

Yes I would like to change my name at some point. I honestly don't look forward to the mess though.
