What's your opinion on the taste of beer?

It depends what you mean by beer?

 

Well what sort of beer are we talking about? But generally yes, although up until I was about 15 I couldn't stand the taste of it!

 

I much prefer wine.

 

Real beer as in ale?
Tastes like a dying donkeys vomit, or at least what I imagine that would taste like.
Lager beer, nicer with quality.
But I mostly stay away from alcohol now so I would much prefer bear over beer any day.

 

Growing up, I thought beer smelled like urine.

Nowadays, I still dislike Budweiser or Coors, but I enjoy Shiner Bock and Corona (no salt, no lime) as my favorite "traditional" beers. That said, I now drink mainly hard cider, usually Angry Orchard Crisp Apple.

The problem with beers is that they have a very narrow window of temperature that I consider them "enjoyable." Without a koozie, I might not down a beer fast enough to stay in the "comfort zone."

That said, for a beer, you really can't go wrong with any Shiner product, but their Bock is their flagship, and for good reason.

 

I voted Yes because I like beer , although it largely depends on the style of beer as others have noted. Having said that, I'm more of a oenophile and prefer the taste of wine.

For me it depends on the beer. Some of it tastes really bad and I imagine that's what piss would taste like. Other beers aren't as disgusting and have a lighter taste. Random thought: someone on tumblr called it wheat tea and I thought that was really funny xD

Absolutely. I'd be drinking one right now if I had one. But it also depends on the beer. Some I like more than others.

Beer is my favorite form of alcohol, but there are quite a number of beers I don't like. There are a lot I do enjoy though.

 

I would rather drink my own piss.

Then again, I do chug down a few bottles of beer from time to time. If I wanna drink and it's the only thing available (provided my bladder is empty), then fine. Whatever. It sure as hell isn't my first choice tho.

 

I love Samuel Adams, especially the Octoberfest flavor, but other than that I've never enjoyed the taste of beer. Sadly, I have a condition (diabetes insipidus) that makes me susceptible too dehydration and it's not wise for me to drink it.

 

I like light beer but not dark.

 

Yep. When I only knew of Bud and similar brands, I assumed they were all that way, and decided I hated it.
