Obama is going to be talking at my old high school on Wednesday. Monday morning at 10:00 they are giving tickets away first come first serve. I drove past it a few minutes ago (9:30 PM) and there are already people waiting in line. So I'm off to spend the night in my old high school parking lot for 12 hours to hopefully get a ticket to see Obama on Wednesday.

    I'm so excited!!!!!!!

I'll give an update when I get home tomorrow morning!

I was number 166 in line and there were 400 tickets!
I slept maybe an hour and a half on an off on the asphalt of the parking lot. It was so freaking cold, I thought my feet were going to fall off.

When I left this morning (around 10:30 AM) there were at least 1000 people waiting in line. Probably only 400ish stayed the night.
This morning I got my picture taken by one newspaper and after I got my ticket I got interviewed by another newspaper.

    Here's my golden ticket!

wow that is something. Philip Petite (the man who walked between the Twin Towers) came to our school few weeks ago. it was really interesting.
i love when famous people come to schools to do whatever-it's really exciting!

Awesome! I got to see him speak in Berlin with a bajillion people, but that'll be cool to be in a room with him with a relatively small crowd.

Whoa, I just saw "Man on Wire" 2 nights ago. It's a documentary about Petite's twin towers feat. Coincidence.
