Does anyone do art that's embarrassing to show people? What I mean is something that's so niche, that only a very small audience will enjoy it. I'm writing a very niche story and I'm very proud of it. Unfortunately I haven't been able to show anyone yet because it's too niche for most people to understand. What I did do is show people some neutral photographs and illustrations I did for my story.
Not sure it counts, but the only niche work I really have is material I write that's based on material I've already written that you would have to read first to understand what's going on. Usually that tends to be short stories based on my novel, or short stories that are themselves based off other short stories.
