So, I was thinking; I really want kids, later in life, and I was thinking of (among other things, like how to become famous enough that Jaden Smith would date me) what I'd name these kids, and I decided, you know what, that sounds a lot like an EC thread.

So, various human beings and Cthulhu-spawn of EC, if you had children, what would you name them?

I personally like Brenda (my Gramma who I recently came out to), Hope, Katarina, and Helena for girls, and Malachi, Sebastian, Marcus, and Roosevelt for boys.

I'm weird and like old, traditional names, like Evangeline, Maisie, Willa, and Grace for girls.

I like Grace too! It's my best friend's name, so.

    Also, Kyra, rhymes with DIE-rah.

If I ever have kids, I will give them unisex names so they are comfortable in the case they are transgender or genderqueer.

Names like Sam, Cam, Spencer, Angel, Avery, Jordan, Alex, and Skylar are appropriate, though it would be weird for people named Sam or Alex to not be named Samantha, Samuel, Alexandr(i)a, or Alexander.

I am lucky to have a unisex name, though the spelling is masculine. When writing my name at school, I sometimes change the spelling of one vowel of the name (from "o" to "y") to make it look less masculine.

I like the names Aiden Thomas, James Lewis, and David Benedict for boys. For a girl, Alice Hope.

I don't wanna disclose the actual names because I'm a little embarrassed about the whole thing, but I just wanna say I hope whoever I [may] end up fathering those brats with doesn't intent on fighting me on my name choices. I've been carefully and rigorously vetting names for this explicit purpose for a long time now, and there is no way in hell I'm budging on the ones I've settled on. My partner is free to contribute with the middle name if they wish (I don't care about those), but if they really wanna push for a forename of their own choice they betta be ready for that to be settled through trial by monkey knife-fighting

'cuz that is the only possible outcome in which I would let them get their way (if they win).

Harper, Charlie, Sami/Sam, Alex and Jo/Joe. Because they are all kinda unisex.

In the unlikely event that I ever had kids, they'd be Jack (my grandfather's nickname) and Andrew (my boyfriend's middle name). But the odds of me ever having children are about the same as me hitting the lottery 900 times in a row, so maybe we'll adopt two puppies and give them both those names. After all, pretty much every dog in the family, except for my Doberman who came pre-named, has a human name.

I think if I had a daughter, I'd name her Yennefer. I'm not sure what I'd name a son though, maybe Ash or Oak?

I'd like to do the same thing. I even thought about just maybe making their middle name masculine/feminine while having a unisex first name.

Though, I really like the name Lydia for a girl.

Lmao same :roflmao: well kind of at least, I've just had a list of my favorite names picked out for a long time (not necessarily to name my future kids, I just have a weird interest in names for some reason lol) so I'd really want it to be chosen from those.
