Doting

Are you a person that dotes on others, like your partner(s), siblings, family members, friends, yourself, or so? Or do you not like it? Or what?

Me, I can't help myself but to dote on my sister, often resulting in her having to violently ward me off if I try to steal a hug. XD But still, I try not to, because I've had (and have! XD) a doting mother - like, out of this world doter - and I know it can get really annoying, not to mention embarrassing if it's in public. But it's really hard when you're affectionate toward someone to not dote on them, especially if they're younger than you, I think. ^^
