British person here with a sexy British accent haha! French is pretty nice. Omg I just realised your location says France after I wrote that hahaha. That was not intentional. Some Australian accents are just cheerful and nice to hear.

    I like British accents, too.

What do you think about German accents (when speaking English)? I always wonder how it sounds because for me it sounds quite 'normal'.
(And I'm not talking about people who just pretend English pronunciation is like German pronunciation and give a fuck about things like th. I'm talking about people who can speak English well, but you can still hear that they're German.)

I think the most important difference with à german accent is the way they pronunce the w.

I love an accent. Particularly a soft spot for:
    > British/English
    > Scottish
    > Irish
    > Russian/Slavic

Though I also like the way German, French, Australian, and Italian sounds (when speaking English). Most are intriguing. Except I find many American accents annoying.

Do you mean the w in words like write? Because it's actually quite hard for me (and for many others too) to say that without sounding a bit weird.

German, Australian, British, Irish, and Russian. I think they all sound cool.

I like the way a German accent sounds when the speaker is speaking English. I've never had a problem understanding what is being said, and it just sounds cool.

Do you like it because of its sound or because of BVB? :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

I like different accents, but I will say a stereotypical "New Yorker" accent is not as pleasant. I do have a soft spot for southern (US) accents.

I like it because I've always been fascinated with Germany, and also because I've got German ancestry on my mother's side. Those two things predate my BVB fandom.

Hm, I don't really care. I don't generally notice accents. I think it might be that I think of a person's accent as being part of their voice? But I think I'm a bit accent deaf, if that's a thing.

My sister likes some guy who has an Irish accent, and she says his accent is amazing. I can't tell, though.

Well personally I'm more into languages rather than accents...I mean I can find someone speaking a certain language sexy with its typical native accent but hardly speaking another language with an accent.

Maybe if I try really hard and you mean how people speak the English language, I'd say "typical American", I mean the way they speak on the TV Show Friends, the way Obama talks etc.

Oh, no, I can't stand Bayern München. I hate them almost as much as I hate Schalke. Almost.
(Promise I'm not going to hijack the thread with my football rants)
