It seems like sort of a silly question, I know, but it's a legitimate one. I haven't been on a forum in a good five years, and I've sort of... forgotten how everything works. Does anyone have any advice for making friends on here?
What about sending wall messages to people you find interesting? I haven't made any friends yet either, but that's how I would do it.
Read others' posts. If you find someone interesting or if they have a cute avatar or something, send them a personal message on their wall.
Definitely wall message and look at the people on this thread you've made. To make friends you must be a friend
I have the same problem on forums. Usually the chat room is a good way to meet people but EC's chat is dead. Wall messages like everyone else has said are the only way to really get to know people, you just have to be assertive.
I try to make friends but i'm horrible at keeping a conversation going. I have no clue what to talk to people about.
If you like someone's post you can compliment it on their wall and that sometimes gets a conversation going. That's how I tend to make friends here. You can message me!
I'm in the same boat... so I'll go with wall posts too but I don't want to come across as stalking someone either LOL. I just got to Full Member so I'm not sure how the chat rooms are yet but me thinks I'm about to find out... Good luck out there!
Look at wall posts, thread posts, any interests that might be on their profile. Just send a friend request. Worst case scenario they don't accept, best case you make a new friend
I usually find someone I find interesting in the forum, usually someone I've seen appearing all over the place, and I send them a friend request. Other times I get to know them on RPs- you actually make a lot of friends while RPing!
Is there an RP community here on EC? If so, I'd definitely have interest. As for everyone else- thank you for the advice! I've been leaving some wall messages on people I see around on here, so hopefully I'll have a few replies soon enough. I welcome anyone who's also wanting to make some friends here to post on my wall, too. c:
