    Hi y'all! :smilewave

Hey guys had an idea about a new thread, I'm not aware of it's already having been done recently. Apologies if it has!

I was exchanging messages with a friend on EC yesyterday, and we somehow (sad I know!) got into exchanging the type of phrases (pearls of wisdom, thoughts for the day, etc.) that some people seem to be able to quote endlessly. Conversation came round to a calendar I have with one of these phrases on each page. Explain: I belong to a Raja Yoga meditation group, and we have an everlasting calendar where you turn a page every day to reveal the date and today's message of 'Wisdom For The Day'.

Well guys, when I looked at today's message I immediately thought that it explains perfectly some of the ways we support and help each other here in EC.

    It reads: (Thursday Feb 19)

"When I inspire enthusiasm and confidence in those around me, my own self-esteem flourishes."

    (1) What do you think, eh?

    (2) Do you ever feel inspired or touched by any phrases or sayings?

    (3) Which one's have had the most impact on you?

I thought what I'd try for a few days, I'll post each days 'Wisdom For The Day' from my calendar and if you like any, or hate them all, or whatever; please feed back and let me know.

If you want me to carry on with them, I don't mind but please tell me and I will gladly do so.

 Take good care and lots of love, Kayar.

I think that's a great idea, everybody could use some inspiration from time to time.

I know I have written this many times, please bear with me!
    My favorite quote is:
Those who are different, change the world.
Those who are the same, keep it that way.

    Hi Mickey!

I don't care how many times you have written it at all, it's a GEM!

And if it can become reality, what a world we'd then have!!!!

"It has taken me all of my forty-two years to make sense of life, and now you wish me to explain it to you in five minutes?" - Master Splinter

Sort of runs counter to the entire theme, but thought it was pithy enough to include.

I used to have this as my signature, and it's probably everywhere, but I'm still a fan of the Dr Seuss quote "Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind."

My dad said this to me once.

Everyone has an excuse for not finishing college, some of them are even good. However if you finish you don't have to make excuses.

He was right I finished and I don't have to make excesses.
