where would you love to live?

For me it would be in a modern wooden building with large windows everywhere in a forest in America everywhere where I would be able to sit next to and look out of when it's raining

kinda like the one from twilight XD

As my side-profile-thingy says, I'd love little more than this...

...Until the time comes for cleaning. Then I'd hope I have a ton of help or I'd be apartment shopping.

I'd love to live somewhere in the mountains, maybe on the BC-Alberta border, in kind of like a log/wood style house.

I'll probably want a nice, spacious apartment, with room for my musical/book-related interests. A beautiful view and a balcony, but personally I'd prefer nothing that fancy; a modest, cosy place of my own, or with a partner and/or pet would be ideal.

I want to live in a shack in the forest. It will also have a small stable and a large fenced-in space for my horses.

I'd want to live in an apartment in a big city. I don't mind small living space, but I'd need a decently sized room for a music studio

I would like to live in a 'tiny home' in the countryside.

I'd like an apartment with enough space for me and my books and videogames. Maybe a double bed. I don't want or need much else.

House that looks like a log house from the outside but regular interior. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms, living room, library. On about a hundred acres. Barn bigger than my house, for horses. Nice pastures. Woods with riding trails cut all through.

I only would have two main requirements for my dream home.
First, I'd want my girls bedrooms to have bay windows with window seating.
Secondly, I want a kick-ass master bathroom. Shower jets everywhere, massive closet for my expanding wardrobe, just a little "me space" to lose myself in now and then.

I'd want a huge, technologically advanced fortress in a barren cold landscape. It'd go several floors underground and I'd have my own reactor and loyal robotic security. On the smaller part above ground I'd have a prism shaped main building surrounded by four towers topped by long range laser turrets. A central AI would manage the facility in my absence and keep the machines and drones repaired.

    So, something similar to this.

What, did I go a little far? A girl can dream. I think my idea is way better than what the rich people actually do with their money.

A house big enough for me and my three dogs, with a room for meditation which will double as a guest room for staying guests. This will be set with just enough land for me to exercise the dogs properly, preferably with a little stream or something.

Less materialistically, I would love to live in a monastery in the mountains, which I probably will do at some point, but it may not be in the mountains.

We're talking unlimited money, right? :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

A fair-sized house built into a Valais mountainside (Switzerland) - this valley in particular:

I'd want a bar and library for sure. Beyond that I'm not sure what else I'd put in it.

I'd like to live with the Liubishuhulandian community that I created in a secluded place in Central Asia where it's easy to be relatively autonomous. We would be a self-sufficient population and have some contact with the outside world. We could even travel all around the world to experience different cultures and geographies. :icon_bigg

My perfect house would be a small apartment in New York City.
Secretly I want to get a nice little cottage in the middle of the woods away from all these idiots and set up a garden where I could farm veggies and stuff for food and have, like, a billion pugs and a computer (and obviously an internet connection). I would never have to deal with my annoying family, girlfriends, friends, none of that crap. Just me and my pugs and Undertale until I die. Yep...that's heaven.

A nice, small rustic home on the edge of the city. Far enough away so I can pretend I'm out in the country, but close enough so I have the confidence of the city within a 20 minute drive

I'd like to live in a Victorian/Edwardian home of an Earl or a Duke with all the conventional rooms- a big beautiful library, a grand drawing room, a cosey salon , an extravagant dining room, a beautiful ball room, a cute nursery, sophisticated bed chambers rather suites, etc,. With the whole set of staff- Butler, housekeeper, chef, under chef, housemaids , parlor maids, laundry maids, kitchen maids, scullery maids, etc,.

Have you seen Stark Tower? Yeah, like that, just about a hundred times smaller.

That is, I want it computerised, with science labs, robots and an artificial intelligence for a butler. And glass and metal.

Also climbing structures all along the wall and ceiling would be appreciated.
