Buffy The Vampire Slayer. Fantastic show, brilliantly written, excellent characters, and Willow & Tara are a great lesbian couple

But I'll also mention Neighbours which I love (even though it can occasionally be rubbish) but I watch every episode, every day, throughout my whole life, so I think it deserves a mention

    1. Queer as Folk - for obvious reasons, but also cuz it's a quality show that really broke new ground and had characters that were very well defined.
    2. Moonlighting - Straight or gay or plankton, NOBODY had better chemistry than Bruce Willis and Cybill Shepherd. And, again, the show was also groundbreaking.
    3. X-Files - amazing, frustrating, confusing, sexy, etc...; one of the best sci-fi shows ever. And I disagree with most people who said it sucked after season blah blah blah. They just didn't get the point or didn't have the patience to go on the whole journey.
    4. Battlestar Galactica - BOTH versions. The new version is simply brilliant. The original, once you get past the 70's trappings, really does hold up and they had some great, brave ideas.
    5. Miami Vice - No, I won't apologize for this one! Again, anyone who can't see past the '80s looks and (sometimes) cheese just doesn't get the point. Great 5-season character study of one man's growing disillusionment with his job and the justice system.

Rounding out my top 10: Golden Girls (!) , Alias, Nip/Tuck (though not lately, BLEH!), Dawson's Creek, and Friends.

Yes Minister and Yes Prime Minister. The cast was brilliantly selected. I think it's one of the best comedies on politics behind the scenes out there.

I don't watch much TV these days, but I love the Amazing Race. I sooooo want to be on that show! It would be a blast.

  10. OMG yes! I love(d) that show! I haven't seen it in such a long time, it makes me sad. I really want to get all the seasons on DVD and have a Buffy marathon sometime.

Will & Grace. Best. Show. Ever. I don't think I need to explain myself on this one.

And, of course, The Simpsons. A classic.

The L Word, for obvious reasons. XD
Bones, because it's a smart, funny show with good characters. I enjoy it, and I'm really interested in Anthropology too.
So You Think You Can Dance, because the dances are always amazing, and I admire people who can dance like that. And...the girls are always gorgeous.
And of course, Ellen. I just love Ellen ^.^
And Xena, Warrior Princess! Xena and Gabrielle are both gorgeous, and I love history-based shows.
I'm also addicted to this show called Relic Hunter recently.

The Mighty Boosh. Although I see it as more of a lifestyle than a telly show now...

Degrassi: The next Generation - Because it actually has serious problems with teens and it actually has gay characters that arn't just there for comedy (Will and Grace)
Avatar: The Last Air bender - Because even though it's a cartoon, it teaches great wisdom
Queer as Folk - Gives me a break from straight people
Noah's Arc - Also gives me a break from seeing straight people all the time
Lie to me- Educational in an entertaining way, love learning what faces and gestures mean
MythBusters - Its funny and educational and it answers some questions i have
