It's a bit of a morbid question, but what do you want people to do with your body when you die? It turns out that there's a lot of options. I heard about a company that's working on composting humans so they can become soil and help plants grow in the local area, which actaully sounds like quite a nice idea. Or you could get your ashes blasted into space,or have your body donated to science. Or maybe you could just get buried or cremated. What are your thoughts?

I think I'd like my body to be donated to science, maybe once they're done with my body, turn it into ashes and use a Bio-urn to plant a white cedar tree.

Hmmm, after looking at what's available, I think I want to go with a ginkgo tree instead. I wish I had a spot to plant it though, I don't think it's hardy enough for my zone though... Maybe go with the seedless urn and just put a seed of my choosing in it. I wonder if my rez would be okay with that...? Sorry, I'm rambling now.

I'd either be up for being donated for science (I mean, I know I'd leave an interesting corpse to be studied) or just plain cremated like most of my family. Either way, I just don't want my family going into debt to deal with my rotting meat sack. I'll already be gone. It's not gonna matter what someone does with my body but just want it to be some way that's not excessive. Might as well make myself useful.

Probably have my ashes blown into space (if that's even possible?). To be able to float in space for eternity even if it was just my ashes would be a dream come true haha

Cremated even though burning to death or drowning is my biggest death fear. The thought of being buried and regardless of how well everything is sealed I will be eaten by something creeps me the F#@k out even more. Spread my ashes at a place or places of my choosing please

I'll be dead, so I don't really care. Once my consciousness ceases, it doesn't really matter what happens to my body.

I suppose I may donate it to science.

    Happy days

I don't want to be buried... I don't want the chance of some weirdo digging my body up and doing things. I also don't want to give my body to science. I think I'd like to burn my body into ash.

I think this would be really cool, and it's environmentally friendly.

I have an organ donor card as well, but the chance that a person actually can donate their organs is very low, so I'll go with another option in the first place.
Plus, Body Worlds luckily also takes bodies that have been opened before for organ donation, so in the "best case" I can do both.

Well on my drivers license it lists me as an organ donor which is fine, though I wonder about the idea of my body part in another person's body and I feel a bit odd about it.

Honestly it doesn't help anyone but I'd like a Viking funeral, after that I don't care.

Science. Seems quite impractical to be buried, it's not like I'm going to rise from the grave someday so no point in my opinion. At least with science maybe they could further research possible cures to the conditions I have or something.

You can write that on your driver's license? Wow, that's somehow macabre. But practical, too.

Organs donated and the rest of me cremated. I want the ashes scattered but I haven't quite decided where yet. Maybe Lake Superior. The idea of being all dressed up and buried seriously creeps me out.

In the US, yeah. I'm a registered donor too.
