Do you live in a humid climate but would rather live somewhere dry? Do you live somewhere where it doesn't snow and you'd rather live in a place with four seasons?

I grew up in a semi-arid steppe climate (northern Nevada) and I've always loved it. Hot, dry summer, snow (but not too much) in the winter. It's my ideal climate and I don't plan on leaving anytime soon.

It depends on the season in Michigan. It's cold most of the time. I tend to prefer a very tropical climate. Those are really nice.

I live in the UK which has fairly middling weather with few real extremes in our climate. I would love to live somewhere tropical, though I wouldn't want too many snakes or spiders around.

where i live now is cold with trees...but the summer/sea is about just to begin.

What I prefer? Beaches and palms. Something like Eilat, Israel or the Canary Islands.

Oh Lordy, south central Texas. Hot and humid. I was born here so I'm used to it, but I wish our climate would either be less humid or cooler. There is a legitimate reason why some of us wear cowboy hats. I honestly think I was destined to be a Yankee at heart (climate wise).

While I understand the appeal of tropical climates, I would probably rather just visit them (as I have, in Mexico and Hawaii) rather than live full-time in one. Tropical climates have one season all year long...that might be a bit much.

A lot of people complain about hot weather, but I find it's the humidity that's more oppressive than the actual heat sometimes. It's hard to feel cool when you're all sticky.

I'm in Michigan so we get four seasons. I despise the long and cold winters and it is generally too cloudy, which is depressing. I plan to move somewhere in the South where it is warm and sunny most of the year, somewhere like Arizona, Texas, or Florida. I much rather deal with warm/hot weather all year and would be happy only having 1 season. The heat and humidity can be miserable as well at times, but it is a tradeoff I guess, lol.

The UK has an oceanic climate. It's mild all year. It doesn't snow a lot. There aren't many thunderstorms. It's cloudy more than half of the time. It doesn't rain a lot, but what rain we do get is usually light and drizzly. 85F is a hot summer day, while 20F is very cold and worthy of news time. 1 inch of snow is enough to cripple transport. A variety of palm trees can grown here because it is very rarely cold enough to kill them.

I'd rather live somewhere with colder winters.

I think a good word to describe the UK's climate is 'boring'. At the same time, the weather very rarely poses a threat to human life, and it's rarely uncomfortable. Honestly, I could probably live here with just a hoodie, and nobody has A/C.

I'm in Pennsylvania (or the temperate deciduous forest biome for you science geeks), and we get all four seasons.

In the summer, it can be brutal as hell and get into the 100s, and the winters are often pretty bitter and we're in the teens or near zero temperature. But how harsh things will be just depends. We haven't had a really bad summer or winter in years, so I guess that's sort of good. Right now, spring for us is actually rather nice. It's not too cold or too hot, though it was pushing 80F/26.6C a week or so ago--which is something we usually don't see until the end of the month or start of June.

Honestly, Canada is it's own special climate.

I would prefer to live in a place that's always warm and has two seasons, like India or Western Africa! Or Southern California...yeah, that too.

England has a very mild climate, we don't get the extreme weathers but the weather is all over the place and it rains about 80% of the year. The other day it was sunny in the morning, by lunch it was hailing and an hour later it was overcast but reasonably warm. Its such a pain because you need to carry sunglasses and an umbrella with you because it changes every half hour.

I can't deal with the cold, anything less than 10°C. Around 15-25C is my optimum. Warm rain is my absolute favourite kind of weather, only experienced it once on holiday in Spain.

We get 4 seasons and I love it. I love the Fall and like winter and summer but don't like spring (it rains way too much). I love the snow but hate when it get 10 degrees or colder and in the summer I hate when it gets over 80 especially with the humidity we get.

Hot with high humidity. It rains a decent amount, lately more than usual. Heavy rainfall last year damaged some of the cotton corps farmers had around here.

I rather live somewhere a bit colder

We have 4 seasons in Michigan. It is pretty nice. I'd love to live somewhere like Florida, but inwould definitely miss having seasons.

East Anglia is the driest place in the UK; it's usually just mild although in the winter and spring it's very chilly. Sometimes in the summer we get some really nice sun and hot weather though.

I'd rather just live somewhere that's always kind of warm.

I live in a place that varies a lot with the seasons (we have the four distinct seasons here). It gets very hot and humid in summer, and snowy and freezing in the winter.

Although I prefer to be warm, I prefer the climate I live in because I like the variety. I think it would feel more monotonous to me if the seasons and climate didn't change.

Well, I live in Colorado near the mountains, so...... yeah. There really isn't a sturdy climate. But I used to live in southern Cali, so I love warm weather, and the desert.

I live in a temperate rain forest, which means that it rains a lot (about 60 inches, or 1500 mm a year). I love it though, because the winters are usually above freezing, and the summers are warm. The rain means that there are some really amazing forests and wildlife.
