Have you ever planned to leave your knowledge of one language to gain more in another

I mean, say if you know English as a second language but want to abandon it to leave "space" for say Spanish and Italian? Etc.

I don't believe people can speak more than 3-4 languages as they need to be maintained on a daily basis hence if you want to speak more you'd have to leave some aside.

Kinda interesting you've planned Bulgarian at all , probably the only person to ever do so unless it's your mother tongue or living in BG. I am not interested in Russian at all though, well yeah I've considered it but among 15+ other languages.

Yes, but does it have any use?

My current language-learning-jerk revolves around:

Japanese, Italian, Latin, Spanish, Hebrew, Old Church Slavonic.

Obviously can't speak them all so will have to say drop Eng and maybe do something like Italian + Latin or Japanese + Hebrew.
