    Within the gay community are certain subcultures that are represented by an animal, the most known in my opinion are bears. The ones I can think of are;
    Bears
    Cubs
    Otters
    Wolves
    Chickens

Are there any that I haven't listed?

Do you see yourself as belonging to one of the 'animal subcultures'?

Do you have a suggestion for any new ones?

I consider myself a Duck-billed platypus. I belong to more than one group and think I'm unique.

    I'm definitely a Giraffe.

What's a chicken? I've never heard of that one.

In the past, I've heard that a "chicken" is a former twink who has since aged. However, wikipedia has a very different definition, so I'm not sure which is correct:

As for myself, I guess I would fit somewhere in the "bear" community, but I'm not really a bear (I don't have much body hair, except on the extremities).

Isn't that an otter? I thought otters meant less hairy bears?

Could someone list out what the animals terms mean? For some of us less knowing individuals :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

In male bisexual and gay culture, a Bear is a large, hairy man who projects an image of rugged masculinity.
●Cub – a younger (or younger-looking) version of a Bear, typically, but not always, with a smaller frame. The term is sometimes used to imply the passive partner in a relationship.
●Ewok – A bear of short stature, but not younger.
●Otter – A slimmer or less hairy Bear regardless of age.
●Wolf – A slimmer Bear, with the behavioral characteristic of sexual assertiveness or aggression

    Chickens explained above. :icon_bigg
